Friendly staff. Views from the room were lovely. Food at restaurant pretty good

Pools not very clean. Beach full of smelly seaweed

great location, loved the hammocks on the dock and the various places to hang out. lots of plants in the inner courtyard. didn't feel busy even though it was fairly fully booked. right next to the Manati Cenote which is well worth it.

if they want to be a 4 star hotel and worth the high price there are a few things that really need to be addressed. eg having only one Kayak (and that was not in a good condition), and no SUP or other options just isn't enough. Breakfast was okay but not great. We had dinner only once, and that was rather underwhelming and we never went back - they were out of seefood, the meat was way to salty, the pizza boring and flavourless. Clearly not worthy of a decent let alone pricy hotel. The snorkeling must have been amazing in the past when the coral reef was still alive - but pretty much all the hard coral are now bleached/dead unfortunately (of course not the hotel's fault)

The food was delicious and the staff were all friendly and helpful.

The water off the beaches was quite shallow. And also had a lot sharp rocks and stones to walk on, not the best for swimming. Might be better if you're interested in snorkeling, and there are quite a few people who were going out scuba diving.

I liked that the hotel offered paddle boarding and Kayak gear for free. I like that the provided us with complimentary water, beer and soda. I also liked that breakfast was included.

I didn’t like how the water wouldn’t stay hot and there were issues with our AC unit throughout our entire stay. Also, the customer service from the night crew in the kitchen was displeasing to say the least.
