Hotel JAL City Aomori

It's a hotel focused on providing the most comfortable stay possible. The view was great and the bed was very comfortable. The staff is extremely accommodating and careful. They handled my luggage forwarding carefully. The breakfast was better than most hotel breakfast experiences. Natsume-San was gracious and spoke to me in English and tolerated my broken Japanese. I appreciated his assistance signing up for the JAL One Harmony loyalty program and getting a discount. That's a huge bonus for slower late checkinh out and lowering meal costs substantially. I will always book this hotel when I am in Aomori.

It's not at the station, per say. It's a 3 block walk so it's just far enough to be a little annoying with luggage, but almost too short to justify a taxi. I wouldn't let that stop you. Get the taxi and relax your legs. It's worth the extra distance and it's very quiet. You'll sleep great.

Das Hotel hat eine angenehme Atmosphäre und insgesamt hatten wir einen schönen Aufenthalt. Das Personal war freundlich und wir haben uns wohlgefühlt.

Das Hotel ist teilweise schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Das war für uns allerdings kein großes Problem und hat den Aufenthalt nicht wesentlich beeinträchtigt.

Location good near train station and restaurants. The staff were very friendly.

It was very dated decor in the room. Poor quality mattress. Price was quite expensive compared to other hotels we stayed in given the quality of the interiors.
