La Badira - Adult Only

We absolutely loved our stay at La Badira. The hotel is beautiful, peaceful and incredibly serene, with a fantastic location and gorgeous views. The facilities are excellent and the food was consistently delicious. The serving staff were wonderful — attentive, friendly and genuinely keen to make our stay special. A particular mention has to go to Mohamed, who looked after us at breakfast every morning. He was absolutely fantastic and seemed to anticipate everything we needed before we even asked! Our favourite table would be ready and our coffee practically waiting for us before we had even made it downstairs. That level of personal, attentive service really stood out and made our mornings special. Overall, the atmosphere, surroundings, food and hospitality from the serving staff made La Badira a beautiful place to relax.

There were a few things that unfortunately let the experience down slightly. When we booked through Booking.com, our reservation showed free airport transfer, however the hotel did not appear to be aware of this and we were initially told we would need to pay an additional charge for the transfer. This caused unnecessary confusion and should really be better coordinated between the hotel and Booking.com. Although our room appeared very clean and tidy, we unfortunately had ants in the room and quite a lot of flies, which was disappointing for a hotel of this standard. Finally, while the restaurant and serving staff were absolutely fantastic, we found some of the reception staff rather standoffish and not particularly helpful. The difference between the warmth and attentiveness of the serving team and our experience at reception was quite noticeable.

Vor allem das Essen war enttäuschend. Es war nicht grundsätzlich schlecht, aber wie viele andere Aspekte unseres Besuchs auch definitiv nicht das Geld wert. Es wurden Luxuspreise für durchschnittliche Leistungen verlangt.
