Amazing views of the Pacific. Felt remote, but only a short drive down to the coast, shops and restaurants. Unique accommodation

Location, location, location! We loved the forested hillside setting - cool, lush and green with an amazing view every evening as the sun set over the distant ocean. The sound of the birds and the weird and wonderful howler monkeys at dawn and dusk was extra special. Our stand-alone cabina was well equipped with a little outdoor kitchen, so we could prepare simple evening meals when we couldn't tear ourselves away from our terrace after a dip in the pool. It was beautifully appointed - tasteful decor, private, spotless, surrounded by tropical flowering plants. No TV or air con (not needed), good wifi. We loved the 2 large screened sliding doors that lent a real indoor-outdoor living feel. Thanks to our wonderful hosts Ben for introducing us to the resident sloth, and Nate for providing fresh tropical fruit for our morning smoothies, connections to local tour operators, and spot on restaurant tips. We had fun with the boogie boards (short drive to the fab Playa Hermosa), and enjoyed the hike and swim at Nauyaca Waterfalls. If you want a serene, comfortable space with welcoming hosts this place is for you. A 4 wheel drive is a must to get here.

Everything was great. The only thing we missed was access to a microwave oven (To be fair, we didn't inquire about this, so perhaps the hosts could have provided one...)

we loved this place and would definitely come back to relax. it even included a „private“ sloth in the garden and toucans flying around in the trees😍 nate was super nice and heled us with all our needs, thank you very much again!

Gorgeous view! 5 star accommodations. Our hosts were exceptional.

The drive up and down the mountain was a bit of a nail biter.

The cabins and the ocean view were unbeatable... the entire stay completely exceeded my expectations. The location is beautiful, right in the mountains, about a 10 minutes drive from the beach. The cabins have all you need and even a kitchen on the porch where you can make your own meals and watch the sunset if you like. The host was also very accommodating and super lovely. Definitely would love to come back!

Loved the hosts. They are very approachable and welcoming. Love their spot. It is an enclave of serenity and natural gardens, beautiful views, and peaceful atmosphere. Pool was clean and rooms were lovely and very clean. Comfortable beds and friendly furry friends to visit with. Dogs and chilled out cat!

Wifi is still not quite up to speed when other people (next door) are using it. When no one is on, it works great. For my purposes it worked well enough just not quite as well as I expected. The important thing is that it served it's purpose and I got through a zoom meeting with over 150 attendees and virtual breakout rooms and main rooms I was later than everyone else but made it through it.

This place is amazing and Nate was lovely! It’s set about a mile up the hill up a dirt road and you’ll probably need a 4x4 but well worth it for those views and peace and quiet. The cabins are very clean & have all the amenities...yoga mat, coffee, towels for the beach etc. The outdoor kitchen and deck is amazing with views over the ocean. The swimming pool and outdoor kitchen communal area are beautiful, as are the trails. It was wonderful!!!
