Casamata Matera

Schöne Unterkunft, sehr sauber, kleine Terrasse.

We absolutely loved our stay here! From the moment we arrived, everything felt easy and welcoming. Communication with the host was excellent, and Fabiana was so lovely and helpful with check-in. The apartment is in the heart of Matera’s historic centre, and the view from the private balcony is simply breathtaking. It was such a special place to relax and take in the beauty of Matera. The room was spotless, comfortable, and had all the modern amenities we needed. The unique cave-style bathroom really added to the experience, and the shower had excellent water pressure—a small detail we really appreciated! We truly enjoyed our time here and would happily stay again. It’s a beautiful, special place that made our visit to Matera even more memorable. We highly recommend it!

We loved the cave experience.

Though a little thing like having some milk, olive oil salt n pepper would be nice when arriving as the location is work to get to. Even a tea towel to wipe up.

This place is absolutely amazing. The location in the Sassi is perfect, and the room—especially the bathroom—was pure luxury. The host was easy to communicate with and made it very simple to find the place and check in."
