Location was perfect on a quiet street,well lite, a 5 min walk to all the restaurants and shops. The host were super friendly and helpful with everything. They picked us up from the dock and when we left took us to the airport at no extra charge. Any questions we had they were able to answer and recommend places to eat and tours to go on, as well as where to visit on our own. We had a super fun and relaxing holiday, definitely would recommend Hostel Romy

Everything was perfect

This Hostal is run by the actual owner Ronny and his daughters Daniela and Romy. The went above and beyond to make our stay special. The place is simple however it has absolutely everything you need to guarantee a good night sleep, great shower and tasty breakfast. You can tell they have paid attention to every small detail and the place was spotless. The room was very spacious, we even had a small table with a coffee maker and they would place fresh fruit every day for snacks. There is also a small fridge to keep drinks or snacks fresh. There is an area outside to wash your bathing suit or snorkeling equipment and plenty of space to hang them to dry. Everything was super clean, from the bedroom, sheets, towels, and toiletries. The breakfast is made fresh everyday, simple but delicious. I would recommend this place with no hesitation. You will not be disappointed.

The staff is very friendly

The booking states that this property is ocean front and offers ocean front suites. This property is not ocean front and does not have ocean front suites- when you look out the window you see concrete walls. Description of suite was not accurate and is technically false advertising. It is however about 2 blocks from the beach and the property is clean. I felt safe here- just be aware it’s not a beach front suite when considering the price.

Comfortable, clean, close to the waterfront shopping and restaurant strip, great hospitality from Romy and Daniella. Great location at the end of the walking strip so it is quieter but still very close to the pier, shops, and restaurants. I really appreciated that Romy picked me up from the ferry and dropped me off ay the airport, they’re both close to the house but it was really nice to not have to arrange a ride or lug my suitcase around.

The family is lovely and helps with everything. The place is clean, comfortable and equipped. The beds are comfortable and the value for the price we paid above and beyond. I highly recommend Hotel Rumi.

The family that runs the facility went out of their way to make me feel welcome: they picked me up at the ferry, took me to the airport, gave me a ride to the hospital (due some finger swelling) making sure there was someone who could speak English since my Spanish isn't fluent. They gave me a map and tour info, gave me suggestions on places to eat, where I could see the Blue Footed Boobys. There was a fresh pitcher of water, new towels, and pieces of fruit in my room each day.

A wonderful family run Casa in a quiet street but very close to the main area. The pickup from wharf and dropoff to airport was greatly appreciated. The room was well maintained, clean and fruit provided daily. The family live onsite and provide good advice 24/7.

Small family run property. They live at the front of the property and are always there to help. Daughter has very good English. Quiet location. Room was large. Fruit and water left in the room each day + beds made each day. Although the port and airport are not far away, with big bags the complementary pickup /drop off was appreciated.

The family that runs the place are very nice and helpful people. The daughter speaks English very well and is always there to help, explain and give advice. We really appreciated it. Also, when we ended up staying longer on the island since we didn't get the tickets for the ferry in time, we were not only allowed to stay but also were upgraded to the apartment, which is really a wonderful option and we strongly recommend it. The taxi from the airport is $2 and on the way back the family gave us a ride.

The internet was almost non-existent but I checked and it was the same all over the island, so it wasn't anybody's fault. Just get ready to survive without the internet.

It was great experience to stay at Hostal Romi. Great family, very welcome. They picked us up from the airport and dropped us off at the fetty to Santa Cruz. We got very good recommendations for the tours to take and were very happy with all. They booked all tickets and tours for us and all arrangements for pick-ups from the Hotel. The room was very clean and the bedsheets and towels were changed everyday. The breakfast was very good for only 5 dollar extra with great varieties. Overall, the best place we stayed in Galapagos. Highly recommended!

Excellent service! Picked us up at the airport. Made us feel like part of the family. Provided water and fruit for free. We had the 3 bedroom apartment that was great for our family.

Very nice family. They helped us book our tours quickly so we didnt have to go shopping around in town. We were picked up at the airport and dropped off at the port to go to the next island free of charge. The room was huge (definately the largest we stayed in in the Galapagos). The hotel is slightly out of town which we liked but might not be ideal for people who don't like to walk. Could open the window and hear the sea lions on the beaches, but if you wanted quiet, simply close the windows and turn on the air and the room is cooled very quickly.

The owner was really nice. They picked me up at the airport and the daughter took time to give me an overview of the town and activities in the area. They even dropped me off at the pier for no additional cost when I was leaving, so I didn't have to walk with my suitcases. Room was large and clean, courtyard space was great for relaxing.

I suppose it could have been a little closer to the main part of town, but it was only a 10 min walk to the pier so still pretty close. Wifi wasn't great but on par for the Galapagos.

We loved our stay at Hostal Romy! The room was huge and super clean with a table, fridge and kettle. They gave us fruit and new towels every day! Dani fetched us from the port and dropped us at the airport and was available to help with anything. They are such a lovely family and make you feel at home straight away. Would highly recommend.

The only thing is that our room was not very quiet in the early mornings.

My son and I stayed 4 nights here and found the room very clean and comfortable. Very good air conditioning!
