Very smart, well furnished, top quality accessories and toiletries, and outstanding meals. Staff very helpful.
Perfect location next to river and only a few minutes to Cathedral and city centre.
No problem with property (but early-hours noisy returning youngsters (presumably having been drinking…) to room adjoining spoiled a good sleep!)

Lovely cosy room with nice comfy bed. Great location and lovely restaurant for breakfast next door. A glass of prosecco on arrival was a nice touch.
You could hear the guests next door. Unfortunately we had very loud guests next door coming home in the early hours, a bit worse for wear, shouting most of the night and spoiling our stay, keeping us awake. Such a shame.

Excellent location right on the river and close to the town centre. Super breakfast. Comfortable bed.
Our original room was on the third floor, and the lift had been broken for 2 days. Having climbed to the top in unbearable heat, the room was so hot we couldn’t stay in it. We were offered another room in another part of the hotel which to be fair was a lot better. This room was not as squeaky clean as it might have been with lots of dust around mirrors and base of the fan. The showers was extremely small but good .
