Our host, Alexandra, was very accommodating, extremely helpful, in fact, SUPERB! We were communicating before our early arrival and we met Alexandra whilst the apartment was being prepared. She let us leave our luggage as we arrived in Ponta Delgada a few hours early. The apartment itself was far roomier and bigger than we had realised – certainly plenty of room for me, my wife and our 18 and 20-year-old sons. There were two outdoor seating areas – both were used! We had a washing machine and outdoor line – perfect for catching up on our vacation washing. We walked into the main town very easily for eating, food shopping, catching buses and taxis, etc. I used the kitchen for cooking a few meals – got the hang of the electric hob easily and used many of the kitchen items / utensils. Also used the coffee machine – Alexandra kindly gave us 6 pods; best talk to her to know which ones to buy if you’re there for a longer stay. The shower was great, also got used to the bidet as no toilet paper in the toilet is allowed (as in most Azorean properties) We saw Alexandra on our last day and even though she was in a rush to get to her workplace, she took the time to call us a taxi to the airport. That is what I call a great host. Thank-you Alexandra. We would definitely return to you if we came back to Ponta Delgada. p.s. We loved the view of your pond and also your two dogs!

Nothing!! For our family it was perfect!

The Apartment was really nice, lots of space had everything You needed. A great wiev over the harbour and the sea, two big terrassen and a small balcony. Comfortable beds. Near some really good restaurants, you are a bit away from the touristcenter, which we appreciated a lot. Alexandra ( the owner) took great care of us.

Our flight got delayed by over 6 hours and thus we couldn't meet Alexandra at the agreed upon time. She understood our situation and waited until 1:30 AM for us and gave us the check in and appartment tour without ever complaining about us arriving so late. We're not saying that you shouldn't come at the agreed upon time but Alexandra showed real compassion about our flight-delay which we couldn't control and remained very professional about it even at such a late arrival. Alexandra in general was a fantastic and supportive hostess - she washed our clothes when we were unable to do so, and even dried and folded them for us. This is service you would only expect from a hotel but we got it right here from Alexandra. Additionally she ordered a Taxi for us and made the stay in Ponta Delgada as complicated as possible for us. We are very grateful to Alexandra and hope that we could convince you to stay at her place as well. It is only a few walking minutes away from the city centre, the farmers market as well as the port, we always had an easy time finding our place with taxis and by foot.

The place was very clean and comfortable. It was in the city center with a lot of restaurants, supermarkets and shops nearby (5min walk). Also the lady was very kind and helpful. Highly recommended.

Great place and location, Very clean with excellent facilities, very bright house with comfortable beds and well equiped kitchen. we cooked dinner 2 nights and the space is also inspiring and relaxing with great views. Walking distance to historical downtown area. Very helpful and attentive host. Would def stay there again, parking is ok in the street, could look a bit dangerous at first, as it is a very narrow street.
