We liked the location, the facility and the host.

Fairly well equipped with all basic needs & comfortable enough beds . Lovely cold pool was a welcome treat on a hot day.

Loved the Nespresso machine in the bedroom but not a great place if you value a hearty variety for breakfast. Accommodation & bedding/ towels looked a bit tired .

Comfortable room with access to garden and outdoor deck area with seating.

It’s a bit out of the way, with no restaurants or shops within easy walking distance.

Dry comfortable beds so we had a great sleep. Appreciated being picked up from airport- it was not far but very quiet in the room. An ideal start to out NZ holiday

Podróż po Nowej Zelandii najlepiej zacząć w domu Fiony. Niezwykle ciepłe, rodzinne, gościnne miejsce. Poznasz tu Nową Zelandię od najlepszej strony. Fiona interesuje się swoimi gośćmi. Nas odebrała z lotniska, zadbała o to byśmy nie byli głodni, a już buteleczka słynnego lokalnego mleka w lodówce była rozbrajającym bonusem. Pokój ma wszystkie wygody i więcej.

It should be much clearer that you have to pay in cash. This is hidden on the last line of the policies and should be much more obvious. We had run our money down so had to pay an extra $6 ATM fee

Location was close to airport. I appreciated being picked up and dropped off at the airport.

+ Breakfast. Fiona was a very welcoming host who picked us up from the airport. When we left she also drove us back there to pick up our rental car, much appreciated!

The breakfast was great. The location was just what we wanted - close to the airport. The host was very friendly, and she very kindly took us to the airport when we were leaving.

The bathroom sink was a bit small.

We liked that the bed is warmed and comfortable. The hosts are really welcoming and helpful 😊

The toilet side have 2 taps, one for hot and cold, instead of 1 tap.

We did notice that the smell of cigarette smoke was quite strong at times and found that unpleasant

As soon as we walked in we felt like we were at home! We had never stayed at a B&B before, so we didn't know what to expect and because we were arriving very early in the morning (1:30am) we felt a bit worried about entering someone else's house without meeting them first ... However, with clear communication we had no issues and felt instantly relieved. Fiona is extremely welcoming! We stayed for one night at the beginning of our trip and enjoyed coming back for the final night of our trip. Breakfast both times was extremely appreciated and if we return to New Zealand we will definitely start our trip here again!

The bedroom was immaculate and clean. Our host was really kind and flexible. We appreciated the extra mile she went to for us.

I would have preferred to settle by card rather than by cash.

We were staying 1 night, flying in from Sydney then catching the Trans Alpine train next morning. The logistics of our trip were made seamless as our host collected us from the airport and was happy to provide an early breakfast in the morning and then take us to the train station. So appreciative of Fiona's willingness to assist and her happy disposition.

Weather was poor, rain threatening so distance to walk to shops/restaurants was too far.
