Great for our big party plenty of room to spread out

several things not working

Totally in love with the location - nothing like it. The most incredible nature, birdlife and all to ourselves. The house was amazing - views for days, space for days. It is architectural - guessing built early 2000s. The palette is basically a cool white with warm yellow timber floors. The fireplace and kitchen with the views - excellent cooking facilities - what else does one need? I will absolutely return. I miss this part of the world already. I loved the tiny red bellied wrens, the black cockatoos and the hundreds of pademelons that come out at night. You can even hear the ocean.

Really there is nothing I did not like. I loved all of it. The only teeny tiny downside was the built in bath plug in the main ensuite was dodgy which meant I could not have a bath - but minor gripe. There is another bathroom. And there were no blinds in the main bedroom - amazing views, but I need drapes for warmth and sleeping. I had to move into another bedroom to get rest. Not a massive fan of the interior colour palette and bathroom tiles (more cold white) but that could be easily fixed with paint and a few soft furnishings, which I guess are really not necessary. But really the house design and location speak for itself. I truly loved this house.

Lovely view, very peaceful spot, house is spacious and well set out. Huge deck to relax and watch the bird life, it got very hot and there was no shade however. Beds were clean and comfy, kitchen well equipped for lots of people (5 adults, 4 children). the separate room for the TV is a great idea.

Aircon didn’t work properly, fridge had some broken shelves in the door so it was a bit hard to store things. Plug in ensuite bath didn’t seal and water trickled out, so couldn’t stay in for long. A bit of maintenance and this place would be perfect.

The location was breathtaking and the house had everything we needed to be really comfortable.

We had a few issues operating the dishwasher.

stunning location, large areas for groups of people to have space, etc.

no blinds in main bedroom was a big downside for us - it would be nice to have the option to sleep in rather than have to use a pillow over my face! bed was quite hard. main shower was like a hose, pity for such a wonderful house - mould in bathrooms behind sinks and shower areas. outdoor lighting did not work and this had been a common theme in feedback of others! staff unhelpful telling us they would send someone out but didn’t hear anything back. for such a grand property there were a few things that could have been improved, including tending to dirty pots in kitchen cupboards.

Beautiful property with floor to ceiling windows to admire the amazing views. Large space accommodates large group.

It liked it all but would recommend an outdoor fire pit or heating to enjoy the deck on cool evenings.

Amazing position

The location and outlook were wonderful. Quite isolated (so no internet) but beautiful natural surrounds. The main living area and kitchen were comfortable and well equipped.

Many of the bedrooms (we used four) had no blinds or curtains. The pillows were overly flat and uncomfortable. The bathrooms were dated and configured such that six people needed to share one bathroom.
