The staff were the kindest, friendliest people ive ever met. They were so welcoming, caring and looked after me. I 100% recommend this to solo travellers if you are looking for quiet. Special thanks to Veera and Maddy :)
Nothing.

Very pretty houses, terrace, scenery and plants, we’ve seen fireflies from our house at night
Lack of privacy, houses located very close to each other, so other guests were constantly walking next to our house. Also because of the harvesting season, there were field workers near our house, so it was quite uncomfortable.
Poor WiFi (probably because our house was not close to the pool/reception) as it was good near the pool

The location and the view.

The view (on the right side of the retreat, not left!) is amazing. It's quiet in the evening and in the morning you wake up with a beautiful view. The staff is kind but does not speak ANY English. The bed was actually really nice.
Staff didn't speak English. The room wasn't cleaned in the three nights we stayed there. There are lots of salamander droppings, so bad you actually need to watch your feet. We got the wrong house (messy start because we last minute booked). Rooms don't have airco! There is a HUGE resort next to it ruining your view and that plays house music from deep in the morning till around 10 at night. You can hear it everywhere in your house.
The bed was great, but.. You got two different matrasses with two different height and big gap. The headrest is wonky so a big push will knock it over. Only one useable outlet that you can use from your bed. The outside light couldn't be off so big light pollution.
Staff didn't speak a word English, atleast the boy and girl in the morning not, the mid day / night guy does a very very little bit. When we booked breakfast they said "traditional Balinese", but just look at the pictures at what we got 3 mornings..
We didn't have a minibar (it should be there). So we asked if they could hold our drinks in the fridge. They put our beer and cider in the freezer.. So yeah when we came back we couldn't drink anything.. They also don't sell anything there except the breakfast that you don't have a choice in.
There was no handsoap and no shampoo. No towels for swimming. Everything is very minimalistic.
Again the view is amazing but it gets blocked by plants (they should cut it better) and in the pool you can't see the view only an ugly grey wall. If they lowered the wall it would, again, be amazing to swim there.
