Crowne Plaza Nairobi Airport by IHG

Transport to and from airport was good , although felt the need to tip as was dropped off a bit away from domestic terminal Rooms very comfortable and equipped Bar and snacks readily available

The only thing I could critique would be I didn’t like plastic glasses at roof top bar , which I understand are necessary as there is a pool , but I don’t believe the pool was open at 11pm whilst I was a customer

Bon ap at front desk Team in coffee shop Cappuccino was great Room was quiet Having day room was great Shuttle both ways was perfect

We were told there was no gift shop and only found it a few minutes before leaving for airport

The hotel didn’t feel like an airport hotel at all. The pick up and transfer to and from the hotel was super easy

The airport transfers could have been a little more frequent

The location, very clean, very friendly personnel EXCEPT THE LADY AT THE RECEPTION

We arrived at the hotel from a safari trip. We needed to stay 1 nigh in Nairobi as of our flight was in the early morning, the day after AND we didnt have a lot of time during the safari to do our online booking we saw on the crown plaza website there was plenty of standard rooms for around 200dollar per night. Thats why we decided to do the booking directly at arrival at the hotel. As we had arrived, the lady at the reception, insisted that those rooms were not available anymore, she tried to offer us a deluxe room for 300 dollars a night. We asked for 10 minutes and booked online in stead. The lady at rhe reception was still taking a lot of time to explain us that it must have been because of cancellations that she couldnt find in her system. All we wanted was a a quick check in, take some sleep, and be ready for our flight a day after. The lady was really the reason of a detractor for this review. So nice, comfy and clean as hotel is, it would have all the right to have a 9 or a 10 in stead of a 6. All the other personnel by the way were very very very friendly except of the lady at the reception that helped us.
