Madridcito

Unlike any other place we’ve been in! I would say it’s smack down between a hotel and a hostel, very inviting but still with its privacy. The location was central, we didn’t have to pay for any public transportation as everything was walkable. Although it’s in a really busy street, we didn’t hear much noise and it felt secluded. The bed was some of the most comfortable from places like this (Airbnb and guest house type places). The kitchen was great, kept extremely clean and they even left out snacks and tea/coffee for you to grab. We ended up saving a lot of money just making our own breakfast. Sometimes they even had bread out!!

Just the shower pressure could have been better, but there’s not much you can do about that in a building this old. The elevator was also a bit dramatic haha The lighting system in the hallway was a bit difficult to navigate, maybe having clearer stickers of what the lights are helps us to turn on the correct ones.

The location is great, the room clean and the staff nice and clear

The bed is very bad as it’s a wooden plank with a soft mattress on top and you can only hand shower. It is not the level of facilities you may expect for the price
