I received a warm welcome and the room was exactly as it was described, with tea and coffee making available. I had a delicious breakfast at a nearby restaurant (Couch), and there is a shop nearby too. I parked on the road, which is pay by phone, and cheaper after 2.30pm, free overnight, and you can pay for it in the morning without even getting up by using Pay by Phone.
Everything was good.

Have stayed there quite a few times as our daughter is at Sheffield Uni. Never have a problem and the pub is good too!

Everything was very clean and orderly; staff (lone bar attendant) very helpful.
I could not get a cool shower - only hot and hotter. Was this me not operating the shower correctly? I ended up washing my hair in the sink for access to mixed hot/cold water
Also that back yard needs a good cleaning, weeding and a general tidy-up; it lets down the rest of the property.
The metal staircase up to the hotel quarters could use a lick of paint, too.

"Ich fand es superschön dort, war zwar ein langer Fußmarsch vom Bahnhof, dafür lang es schon auf halbem Wege Richtung Hillsborough. Bis ins City Centrum war es auch nicht weit.
Oben Hotel, unten Pub -..."
