Lovely location and everything you need for a family get away. The kitchen was well stocked and the dining area comfortably seated all 15 of us. We loved the outdoor barbecue area with hot tubs and sauna. The games room and retro gaming machine were a big hit with all ages.
A little more attention to detail such as replacing broken toilet roll holders in a couple of bathrooms and a few other very minor things would have made it perfect

Finding the location was very easy. communication was fab. Facilities as described. The whole family loved the place, even the dog. we all loved the retro arcade and Pac-Man became addictive. Two hot tubs and Sauna with games room, everything in one place.
If you want a 5* accommodation with all mod cons this isn’t for you. Wifi/signal you’ll struggle. this is a large house within a working farm. Some more towel holders within toilets and door hooks for wet towels would be worth adding, along with some additional blankets for beds. maybe a hairdryer for shared use?

Very nice location and the house and facilities including hot tub, games room are excellent. The surrounding area is beautiful with lots of tracks and forest roads for walks or going for a run. The host was also very welcoming and nice. He said there was no rush to leave the property at 10am on our departure date which was great as it allowed us time to do a Easter Egg Hunt with the kids.
The only issue with the property was the cleanliness. While it was OK and in no way dirty the kitchen and downstairs common areas could have been cleaner. Especially the cooker and oven needed cleaning, the dishwashers had old food collected at the bottom. I think a little more attention to detail from the cleaners would make this place a 10/10.

Gorgeous cottage pictures don’t do it justice. All rooms en-suite, cosy fire and underfloor heating as well as hot tub made out stay comfortable and enjoyable. Great value for money. Will definitely be returning. Host was very accommodating allowing us a late check out (despite Sykes refusing)
Nothing it was perfect
