Ancient Huế Garden Houses

This hotel is, without a doubt, a beautiful oasis away from the noise and bustle of Hue. The facilities are superb and the staff were absolutely wonderful.

Nothing, the entire experience was top notch

OMG! This is the most beautiful hotel I've stayed in Vietnam. While the location is not ideal for shopping, coffee or quick bite like in Hue central as it's about 4km from the main city hub - ok for taxi but it's a 40–55-minute walk, it is a masterpiece of interior design and Indochina architecture. I stayed in Marguerite Duras wing of the complex. The room is super spacious. The bathroom is luxurious and they keep fresh lilies in the room! The outdoor space is a gem - beautiful garden with two gorgeous outdoor pools and the space was filled with jasmine and gardenia scent. In the morning you can hear the sound of roosters and bell from nearby pagoda - a nice touch if you want a place for chill time or a romantic hideaway. I definitely come back. I saw dragonflies and white cranes flying over me when I went swimming in the pool which was super cool. Staff are super nice and helpful, too.

I wish they had the washlet toilet. That would have been perfect. Also, I noticed that there was no body lotion in the room. I guess I could have asked staff, but I didn't need it.

Beautiful hotel, great food and excellent service

Everything was downright perfect. I arrived in the evening, and had a wonderful dinner at the atmospheric restaurant in an orangerie. The menu was a perfect blend of Viet and Western. The room had a bathtub and balcony and I enjoyed the quiet evening. The breakfast was spectacular, and afterwards I used the hotel bike to venture around Hue. I returned for a cosy afternoon tea, and ended with dinner the same place, before departing. ALL things were perfect, and the staff so helpful and friendly, that I almost felt ashamed.
