Our Thanksgiving
We spent our Thanksgiving in this property. Big and spacious.

Very nice spacious house. The whole family enjoyed the stay at this location with plenty of things to do for the whole family. Only a couple minor issues. A couple burned out light bulbs and a broken blind in the Master. Other than that a great stay. I would rent this house again.

Weekend getaway
The property was perfect for our group. Beautiful views, space downstairs with games for the kids and dog friendly. Lovely neighborhood tucked away in the hills, very private. We had one issue when we arrived and the property management company took care of it immediately.

Last minute ski getaway
I booked this property very last minute for a group of 10 friends. Check in/our process was easy. The house was plenty large enough for all 10 people and we all had plenty of space. There is a lot of deck-space and the backyard is fenced in. We brought our 5 month old, potty trained puppy and he had a fun time too. Lots of room for everyone and plenty of parking for 4 cars.
I noticed that when we were exploring the backyard that there was a lot of broken glass, so we had to be very careful. As the snow melted, more and more broken glass was on the ground. I would suggest to check the ground before letting kids/pets back there and to absolutely wear shoes.
My suggestions for booking this: BRING WATER (no filtered water available in the house), bring some extra paper towels, bring laundry detergent if you plan on doing laundry, bring plastic cups (all glass in the kitchen), and bring other disposable kitchen things like plates, utensils, and napkins because you have to do the dishes before you check-out.

Great mountain cabin
We had a wonderful stay. The home was comfortable and perfect size for our 15 party group. Everyone had a cozy place to sleep and fun playing pool, football and enjoy the jacuzzi under the stars.
The check-in process was more cumbersome then other places I’ve stayed through HomeAway where we can check in online and go directly to the unit. It seems that extra step is pretty redundant and a time sink. But the people were nice and it overall was fine.

I thought the house was laid out well for a large group of people. The spa was a little dirty with broken controls (No working jets or method to raise temperature). The inside had dog poop they failed to pick up in the living room behind a chair (we took care of that). The outer deck was messy with bbq tipped over and cushions all over deck from some previous winds apparently. They only gave you one bag for the trash can and one dishwashing detergent for only one use. I thought that was kind of skimpy. Didn't have a spatula for flipping eggs or pancakes. This could all be overlooked though because the home was equipped with entertainment for kids (Pool table, etc.) and great views off the back patio. Still a beautiful home and worked well for our family.

Great house (If there is not a major snowstorm)
The house was perfect for us. We had 4 couples and 2 kids staying the weekend and the room set ups made it very nice. We were able to use the hot tub one night as it was snowing and it fit 6 of us easily. Everything about this house is great, but durning a large storm it is very tough to get to. It is on the top of a hill that has a few different ways to get up that are steep. If you have two wheel drive and chains be prepared to be towed. 3 of our cars had to be towed up due to not being able to make the hills. The 4x4 with chains made it just fine. Also the driveway is not plowed so, again if you go up in a snow storm, expect to dig out snow or pay a private plow company. Other than that, we quite enjoyed our time at this cabin.

Exceeded expectations! Fabulous views
Best cabin in Big Bear to date that we have stayed in!! Worth every penny!! Cabin was absolutely gorgeous with all updated top of line appliances, double ovens, floor to ceiling pine wood, numerous flat screens, modern furnishings, game room, comfy bedding and matresss, fully remodeled bathrooms, excellent lighting, modern patio furniture and every amenity possible. House was not missing a beat. I think the only thing missing were door knobs on cabinets in kitchen to eliminate slamming and noise. (If I can only complain on door knobs you know the house is fantastic) We had an amazing time the entire weekend and wished we would have booked longer. Back yard property was fenced and huge, 3 level back yard deck so all had views of the ski slopes and luxurious forest views. Never given key to hot tub so bummed we couldn't utilize. To the owner: minor leak in ceiling in bathroom #2 (no vent), water dripping from ceiling. Dishwasher doesn't release soap, had to hand wash all and fridge door unaligned causing door to pry open resulting in condensation/water on floor. Side gates to backyard roped (handles broken) so no entry from front and some patio furniture broken. Despite the minor repairs, I would hands down rent this property again!! Sleeps over 12 people!
