Umami Hotel - Adults Only

We had an absolutely amazing experience at Umani Hotel! From the moment we arrived, everything was wonderful. The hotel was beautiful, comfortable, and well maintained, but what really stood out was the exceptional service. Everyone we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. The entire experience exceeded our expectations, and we truly felt taken care of during our stay. We enjoyed every moment and would definitely stay at Umani Hotel again. Highly recommend!

That we couldn’t stay longer

We had some issues with the room that they were able to manage promptly. Staff is kind (thanks Rodney for taking care of the situation, even when your shift had over).

It is ok. Probably, I had a different expectation based on the pictures… the pool is small, it offers limited bfast options (and at defined hours - you have to choose the schedule. I assume to be able to manage the number of guests vs the restaurant’s capacity - it is small). And transparently, rooms are not for three people (or other groups different than romantic couples). They are kind of small and they have an open bathroom, which makes it a bit uncomfortable (one of the rooms had dirty curtains, and pillows looked old, and some mold on the bathroom). Location is not that good, surroundings are not very nice or walkable once it is dark.

We chose the hotel due to the location and pictured. It was not so central / directly to the main street, but it was not so far from it. Parking directly outside of the main entrance. The infrastructure is very warm and welcoming. The design is modern and clean. Unfortunately nothing positive remaining.

There were several things I truly believe that the hotel can improve. Here some of them: - The breakfast is the worst I had in CR. While the CR gastronomy is simple but amazing, the hotel offered tasteless low quality food - starting the first day with the breakfast. - The room, while big and comfortable, had a non functioning air conditioning from the beginning on. When this was reported, they stated that they cannot do nothing, not even offering a proper/proportional compensation at all. Customer service at its lowest.
