We had a wonderful first stay in Emerald Isle. We were very pleased with the layout of the house as well as the location of the house. Close to the beach, restaurants, bike trails, etc. We were within 10 minutes of everywhere we wanted to go and even walked to the grocery store once. LOL. We did not find it to be as well stocked (paper products/kitchen supplies) as some of the reviews stated but maybe we just have a different style of cooking. The board games were great for one day that it rained. Comfy beds and nice quiet neighborhood. Everyone was so friendly including a policeman who stopped and gave our son a free ice cream voucher for wearing his helmet. The Point was a great place for seashells! Our boys highly enjoyed the pool and the golf cart. We had everything we needed for the beach - chairs, umbrellas, etc. Highly recommend “Happy Ours”. Would stay again :)

We love this house and can’t say enough good things. From the communication with the owners and property manager to the location, amenities, flow of the house etc. This is our second time staying here. The house is an easy walk to the beach but the golf cart served as a bonus with 6 kids under 9! The house also is set up lovely and allowed for more than enough space for our two families to be together but not on top of each other. Everything is as pictured and the house is always very clean on arrival. Def recommend for anyone looking to have a relaxing beach vacation!

We loved the location of this home right off of Coast Guard Drive, and loved hanging out in the pool. The beach was a 10 minute walk or you could take the golf cart. The beds were extremely comfortable and the kitchen was well appointed.

Very well situated, appointed, and maintained. Property manager promptly helped us with two very minor issues. We had a lovely stay.

Loved the house overall. Pool was great. Golf cart was pretty much necessary to get back and forth to the beach with all of our gear. It's maybe a 10 minute walk otherwise. The negatives were few but need to be noted. The rug in the kitchen table area was a big trip hazard because it's edges were curled up. We had a senior citizen with us and worried the whole time. The internet was very poor. In fact, the TV's are all on Roku's and when the internet doesn't work, the Roku's don't work. Despite these concerns, we loved our time in this home and plan to return.

The house was very clean. We loved the little extras…….elevator, pool, deck/covered porch, fully furnished kitchen and golf cart! Our stay was wonderful. Any minor issue or question was quickly handled by Sandy, Drew & the owner.

Second trip to the property and it was great! Large rooms and space for our entire family. Beach was a few steps down the road and the golf cart made life easy. Highly recommended!!!

Happy Ours was perfect for our family vacation. We felt comfortable the minute we arrived. Happy Ours had everything we needed (well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, super clean). Pool was nice and golf cart perfect for carrying our things back and forth to the beach which is a short walk from the house. We all enjoyed our week at Happy Ours. Hope to visit again next year.

Great July 4th vacation
Location was walkable to the beach but the golf cart made it easy to transport chairs, cooler, and children to beach. Pool was great and kitchen was well stocked. Beds were very comfortable. Only problem we had was the door closest to the elevator would stick and be hard to open or close.

Great rental for a family
Our family has gathered for several years on the East Coast for vacation. This years choice of Happy Ours at Emerald Isle was delightful. The house was very clean, kitchen well-stocked, and the golf cart made up for the short distance to the beach. The pool was clean and perfect for our three grandsons, alleviating the need to haul so much for beach time.
All in all, great memories!

Wonderful Vacation
The house was lovely, well equipped for cooking, grilling. The elevator was an added plus for heavy items. The golf cart made for easy access to the beach. The house had all the necessary cleaning supplies for dishes, etc. Drew was an added bonus for odd jobs, very prompt, and interesting to talk with.
Overall we had a wonderful experience.

We very much enjoyed staying at this property! The house had many amenities. We loved the pool and trip to the beach on the golf cart was fun. The neighborhood beach access was close and the beach was never crowded. Overall a great trip!

Great week. The house was just as advertised. Nice pool, golf cart, outdoor pool(warm like bath water). Every thing was in the kitchen you could need. Everything worked great and the property manager was quick to come by and fix the Tokugawa.

We totally enjoyed this house… The outside elevator was a wonderful thing for this old lady and the kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans and dishes. The pool was very inviting and there’s a golf cart. We spent quite a bit of time sitting on the porch and will be back and will stay longer

It also has everything that you could possibly need or want wor a week away from home. The owners really took their time and have put a lot of work into their rental. The pool was great. The house was even better. I would highly recommend this cottage. It is truly wonderful. I am sure that we will be back. We even left a bag upstairs and the owners are mailing it back to is. That is awesome, they are so nice. Thank you so much for the excellent opportunity. We will be back.
