Ursprünglich war das Land, in dem sich Mountain Joy befindet, das Gehöft von Maggie Setzer, nach dem Maggie Valley benannt wurde, ein besonderer Ort. Sie werden von seinem Bergcharme, seiner familiären Atmosphäre und seinem Charakter begeistert sein. Wir bieten alle modernen Annehmlichkeiten, die Sie von einem ganzjährigen Zugang und einer Abgeschiedenheit erwarten, die nur wenige bieten können.
Genießen Sie die ruhige ländliche Umgebung unserer Ferienhäuser. Wir haben Ferienhäuser mit einem, zwei, vier und fünf Schlafzimmern, die alle mit Holzkaminen, Kabel-TV, Internet und Küchen ausgestattet sind, in denen Sie Ihre eigenen Mahlzeiten zubereiten können. Draußen auf der Veranda gibt es Schaukelstühle, auf denen Sie morgens Ihren Kaffee genießen oder abends den Sonnenuntergang in den Bergen genießen können. Unser verglaster Außenpool (saisonal) lädt zum Entspannen ein.
Die Mountain Joy Cottages befinden sich in zentraler Lage im Herzen des Maggie Valley, nur einen Häuserblock von der Setzer Cove Road entfernt und bieten einfachen Zugang zu allen Sehenswürdigkeiten der Region. Wir sind nur wenige Minuten vom Scenic Blue Ridge Parkway und dem Great Smoky Mountains National Park entfernt. In der Gegend finden Sie zahlreiche Kunsthandwerks-, Antiquitäten- und Geschenkeläden. In der freien Natur können Sie reiten, auf Bergbahnen in der Umgebung Golf spielen, in Bächen Forellen angeln, Wildwasser-Rafting betreiben und malerische Ausflüge unternehmen. Im Skigebiet Cataloochee können Sie mit der ganzen Familie Ski fahren und Schläuche ausleihen. Das Nachtleben umfasst alles von Jazz bis Bluegrass, Clogging oder Dinner-Unterhaltung. Unsere Cottages sind nur eine kurze Fahrt von der Great Smoky Mountain Railway, dem Biltmore Estate in Asheville, dem Cherokee Indian Reservation und dem Harrah's Casino sowie der historischen Innenstadt von Waynesville entfernt.

Cabin not cleaned very well. One guest found note in bed that read "if you are reading this your sheets have not been changed".There were cobwebs in corners and worms crawling in floor.Porches had leaves piled up in corners. Looked like had not been cleaned from last fall. Had cabin been cleaned I would recommend it. Good location and nice surroundings.

Mountain Joy Cabins is the perfect place for a family to stay. We rented cabin 4 and took our grandchildren, my sister and her children, and my parents on vacation. This rental was ideal for this multi-generational vacation. The kids had plenty to do. We were able to take them all fishing. The cabin was beautiful and any issues that arose the people at Carolina Vacations was there immediately to fix them. From our cabin porch my grandchildren were able to see Elk, ducks, a crane, a rabbit and her baby. This was truly a dream come true. I see this being our vacation destination for many years to come.

Was great but the Wi-fi no work properly worked for ten minutes and stop no only me my friends has the same issue and the closets, fans has slot dust one of the bathrooms the shower head no work

A disaster! Heat didn’t work properly! The kitchen was very very dirty. I washed everything before we used it!The “fireplace “ was a portable heater in one of the bedrooms. Ceiling fans very dusty! Garbage left from past guests on porch and overflowing in garbage can outside cabin. Never picked up during our 6 day stay!Freezer had maybe melted ice cream in it and some black stuff. I didn’t know what that was. I would NOT recommend this to anyone!

The house was nice and neat . A older home but full of charm . Clean and well stocked . The only thing I can say negative was the lack of parking. We had 4 motorcycle and the drive was to small to get all in and the house next door to get out .

This is a cabin in a village of other cabins right on top of you, it's not a private pool, it does not sleep 12, practically sleeps 9, could do 10. It was NOT clean on arrival and even when they came back out to clean it was not up to par. Very dusty, cobwebs, sheets had hair and dust on them, floor had spots and dust balls. Bring your own blankets, bottom floor was freezing despite heat. Upstairs furniture leaves a lot to be desired. Very misleading listing. Now I understand why there's no pictures of pool, outside of cabin, etc. And they're considering 1 bunk bed to be "2" because it has 2 mattresses, top and bottom. There's not actually 2 bunk beds. There's three queens in their own rooms and then a room with a bunk bed, and a twin bed with a trundle under but if you use the trundle everyone else in the room is trapped in their beds or has to walk on the trundle to get out.
