Charming!

We were on Nantucket for a wedding. The property was perfect for us, clean and comfortable and we were able to walk to everywhere we needed to be.

The house had exactly what our group needed with a large backyard as a plus.

My fiancé and I stayed here for a week and had some friends and family join throughout. The house was close to town, the supermarket and all the bike paths. Everything was clean, looked exactly like the pictures, and was more spacious than we thought it would be. The back deck and outdoor shower were just added perks :) Would definitely recommend for your stay on Nantucket!

We had a great few nights at Moonstruck and were pleasantly surprised with the beautiful backyard filled with eye popping hydrangeas as well as the beach gear available for use in the basement. The location of the house is awesome and the beds were very comfy! Thank you, Kathy and Shea!

Thank you so much, Kathy and Shea, for a fabulous stay in Nantucket. Your cottage is exactly as described. We all thoroughly the outdoor shower - what a treat! Eating some dinners and relaxing in the lovely backyard was an added bonus too. We enjoyed our strolls to and from the town - easy access. Thank you for the use of the beach towels and umbrellas - our beach days were perfect. Also it was so nice to have access to a washing machine and dryer during our stay. And finally, we so appreciate your excellent communication and commitment to being responsible and thoughtful hosts.

We had a good time in Nantucket staying at the Moonstruck. A couple of notes for those who are thinking about a stay: - The owners were fantastic, answered all of our questions, and were accessible/responsive. - The home is accurately described as a cottage, not because of its size (which was relatively functional albeit small/choppy common areas), but because of the relative investment in (and age of) the home. Windows and doors stuck, the appliances are outdated, there was not a window unit in the house, etc. We happened to stay during an insane heatwave which made the house uninhabitable for a few days during the day (and habitable during the night once I purchased another box fan). Once the weather cooled down to normal temps, the lack of window unit was not an issue. - The home did have a washer and dryer which were serviceable but the unfinished basement that they were located in was covered in spiderwebs which made the trip downstairs a bit unpleasant. - The home is situated in a convenient location to access downtown and hop on major roads that can take you to various outposts on the island but sits yards away from a double yellow center line road that can be very noisy and busy (major intersection nearby). The home was also in walking distance to a mid-island area which has grocery and restaurants but there was no direct route that featured sidewalks. The new Nantucket Cottage Hospital is also close by. Landing helicopters providing airlift services sometimes felt as if they were landing in the backyard! - The driveway is quite small and difficult to navigate. However, we never had problems backing out as most traffic would kindly allow us out (island drivers seem to be the most pleasant kind). - The house did provide beach chairs and other items which was very nice to not have to travel with. - I enjoyed the back patio and outdoor shower (particularly when it was so hot!) Overall, I would suggest the Moonstruck to a couple or small family group for a long weekend knowing that the weekend is intended to be a break from some modern luxuries but replaced with all that the location in town and on Nantucket have to offer.

We very much enjoyed our recent stay at Moonstruck! If you like Nantucket cottage charm, then this is the house for you. The house was extremely clean and loaded with pretty much everything you need for your island vacation -- just bring your suitcase and food and you can move right in! The property owner, Kathy, was easy to reach and always available to answer questions. If you like a town location, this house in the perfect spot -- walkable to both Main Street and mid-island services like Stop & Shop. The beds are among the most comfortable we have had in a rental house. The backyard is private and the outdoor shower is outstanding! We will definitely be back to Moonstruck!
