it had a strange smell

The L'Alba apartment was very comfortable for our 2 night off-season stay in Tossa de Mar. It is a 2 bed 1 bath apartment on the 3rd floor of a residential complex. Because we stayed off-season it felt very empty and quiet. The beds were very comfortable and the bedrooms faced an internal courtyard so were very quiet. The kitchen has lovely new appliances, the bathroom was modern and clean. Lots of towels and bedding were provided. Secure parking in a small carpark under the apartment was available at 6 Euro per day. Marta was very helpful and responsive with communications.

Being at the seaside it would have been nice for a small balcony but at this price point I think we were very happy with everything provided.

Location is perfect, clean and in quiet area. 1-2m walk from the beach front. Also, flat is nicer than in the pictures.

There's no balcony. Also, host said we can keep the suitcases in the Hostal Alba after the check out, so we planned to stay in Tossa for the rest of the day. When we got to check out, there was no one there. We left the keys in the postbox and had to carry our suitcases with us. Luckily nice people in the beach front restaurant let us leave them in the back so we could enjoy the sun on the beach.

Great location and clean facilities. The apartment was walkable to many things. Marta was a great host and made sure we were set. There is parking on site for additional cost but worth it.
