Le Monde Hotel

Room was large, beds very comfortable, bathroom big and bright and looked new. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Excellent location

If you’re in a room at the back, overlooking Rose street, it’s very noisy when the nightclub that exits onto Rose Street as the windows are not sound-proof. Ear plugs were provided but it was still noisy and was woken up at 3am

Room was fab , and the staff were excellent , really made us feel welcome and very helpful.

Didn’t have a proper breakfast menu they had a brunch one .

Nice, modern hotel.

We were in the Milan room. It was nice but looking a little tired. Nice dressing table but no proper lighting. Breakfast was brunch style so no continental or yoghurt/ceral/fruit choices. And the Scottish Breakfast was very greasy. We had breakfast outside of the hotel for the second day. Very noisy from outside due to two nightclubs.

The room was beautiful and comfortable! They held our luggage as the room wasn't ready as we were very early. They did let us check in 1 hr before we were supposed to, and they had already brought our luggage to our room. This hotel is in the New Town area and very walkable to the train/bus station.

Staff was nice when you could find one. When we checked out, we put the key on the counter because we rang the bell three times and no one ever came. What we were really disappointed in, there was no food service. When we checked in , we verified that we could order food and bring it to our rooms because we weren't feeling good. When we went to order, no one answered the front desk or the restaurant bar. My husband walked down the bar area, and they told him they weren't serving food at all because they were short staffed. This was like 600 pm. Don't advertise these services if we, as your customers, can't receive them! I would have chosen a different hotel!! The staff really did seem overstretched! We stayed in both, New Town and Old Town. I much preferred the Old Town area.
