The mix of old world charm with modern amenities is perfect. The location is quiet but all the sites are easily accessible within a short walk. The staff was amazing and helpful in making recommendations. The property is beautiful and spacious.

I wish the price was a bit lower

The property is really beautiful, the room is also comfortable and the service is really welcoming. The reception manager Paolo and other staffs in duty are helpful and passionate.He helped to book a water boat taxi from the train station to the hotel, and managed to solve other issues as well.

There is only one thing that makes me feel a little bit uncomfortable. My room is the one on the third floor under the ceiling.The photo attached was taken by the time I entered the room from the every beginning. There is a kind of flying pest crawling on the wall between the lamp and the pillow in the photo. Through my stay, I have seen at least 10 pests of this kind, sometimes on the wall，sometimes on the bed and sometimes on the pillow. I understand that they are unlikely to be the harmful pests like the bed bugs which bite people. I don't think they bite people. And I understand that Venice is a city of water, and Venice just had a few rainy days before, so it's natural to have those flying things. But thinking from the perspective of a guest,it's a little disturbing if you have to deal with them during your stay even though the management team is very helpful. One or two, or a few pests like this might be acceptable because it's occasional and random. But having at least 10 those flying things in the room during the stay is a little too much for me although they don't bite people. If this can be addressed or improved, this hotel will be perfect.

The hotel is very nice, feels special. If you want to be away from the high tourist areas of Rialto and St. Marks, this property offers a more locals type vibe, while still within easy walk of all the action.

It's an old building, but that's why you go to Venice. It's not LA standard, but that's not what you go for.

Die Lage ist sehr gut - viele Restaurants & Bars sind in unmittelbarer Nähe.

Das Personal war -mit Ausnahme einer Dame an der Rezeption am Abreisetag montags- nicht besonders freundlich oder zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück war unterdurchschnittlich - das Personal grüßte morgens nicht einmal sondern fragte nur unmotiviert nach unserer Zimmernummer.
