The best location in Venice. Clean and attentive room. The ideal amount of breakfast.

Great location and amazing views on Rialto bridge. Hotel staff was exceptionally nice and helpful. Also our dog was very welcome and got treats and own place to sleep.
Breakfast was as good as it could be keeping in mind they do not have a pro kitchen in the building

Location was the biggest convenience! The staff was friendly, professional, and attentive. Breakfast was awesome ~ first-rate! Our location was literally in front of a water bus station.
The room was a touch warm at night. A ceiling fan would've made it more comfortable.

Location was super-duper! Near Rialto bridge and boat stops. Staff was extremely friendly. View to Grand Canal, clean, comfy.

Location, room, staff…
the breakfast process (very noisy with the kitchenette almost on the tables, constant phone calls…) and the breakfast itself (too simple for the price we paid)

Staff, accommodation itself and the breakfast were all 10/10. Exceeded our expectations. Would stay again, no doubt!!

great location, friendly staff, breakfast was excellent!

Wonderful location near Rialto bridge and vaporetto stop. Great soundproofing of windows so the busy street and canal noise was barely noticeable. Staff spoke good English and very helpful. Enjoyed the huge wall hanging of The Silk Road and Marco Polo's travels. They brought breakfast to our room without additional charge.
Need more variety in breakfast items.

location is perfect, old palazzo structure quite charming. breakfast was also nice even if it’s not a self buffet…
mainly the staff - the thin Asian lady was quite rude and had terrible attitude. she practically screamed at two different guests when they asked for a extra cup and a fork……. the hotel needs better staff training indeed.

Perfect location, good breakfast. Concierge Simone was the best. Nothing was trouble for him, absolutely helpful.
Very nice philipino staff, for breakfast. Always smiling and ready to please.
Defintely an excellent place to be in Venise.

This is a small hotel but absolutely beautiful inside, rooms are very comfortable and we had a great view of the Rialto Bridge
If you are a light sleeper you will hear the boats pulling in and out of their stops

We chose this hotel for its location, which was ideally situated in the centre making everywhere else walkable. Getting here from the train terminal via waterbus was easy and convenient as the stop was about 50m away. The walkway in front of the hotel was busy, but that was expected as it faces the Grand Canal. From check-in to check-out, the staff provided excellent and courteous services.
The hotel was cosy, as was our room, with ample amenities for an enjoyable stay. Our room did not have any canal view but that's ok as we knew about it beforehand and we're out galivanting anyway throughout the day. The breakfast was very good and satisfying.
Overall, we're glad we chose Ego as it was the cherry on the cake to what was already a fabulous trip and the perfect last destination. We usually wouldn't stay at the same place twice but if we ever do go back to Venice, Ego will give us something to think about.
We are not picky or "Karen" travellers, so really nothing that we did not like. We couldn't use the safe as the previous guest left it locked. It was supposed to be reset but we had our DND light on and it was good that the staff respected that. No big issue with the safe.
For us, as long as the first impression from check-in was good and above, then we're cool. Again, the excellent service from the staff was what mattered to us. Well done to all at Ego.

Rooms were good, water pressure was amazing in the shower. The staff were amazing and always willing to help. Location is perfect, right off the Rialto bridge.

Central location, easy and beautiful walks to everywhere, and the boat bus stops right outside.
Small window balconies overlooked side canal with gondolas passing by
"Superior" room was small, and we asked for (really cute) furniture to be removed for space.
Seemed expensive, but didn't really do competitive comparisons.

The location is wonderful with a one-mile path along the lake to reach the Port or downtown with restaurants along the way. It's also a few blocks from a pharmacy and more restaurants. The restaurant in the hotel was very nice however we couldn't have dinner in the dining room two nights due to private functions. The breakfast was marvalous. The outdoor seating viewing the lake was amazing - we'll come back if we can.
It would have been nice to have known about the private parties in the restaurant earlier in the day - perhaps just a notice in the dining room when we were at breakfast or something at the front desk. The first night we were almost the only ones in the dining room. The second night, we went down to have dinner and were told it was booked for a private party. The third night it was a special evening by a wine company.

Such a super place, a great room (junior suite) and brilliant view. Facilities are all wonderful, and the team were super helpful. River taxis, vaporetto and gondola just outside the door.

The hotel was so beautiful and comfortable in an elegant setting. It is located in an historic building steps away from the Rialto bridge.
Nothing!

All the staff were so friendly and helpful. Location is amazing and we felt as if we were staying in a Venetian palace. Our room was very quiet, comfortable and clean (we didn't have a view but it didn't matter) and our highlight was having a delicious breakfast overlooking the Grand Canal watching the Venetians go about their business. Very memorable. Thank you.

Location, decor, comfort, great breakfast!
we were asked to pay a good amount for the cookies we ate despite fact that we were told that they were complimentary. They were in small cylinder jars, unsealed! we were told that everything in upper part was complimentary and everything below in fridge was not. we did not want to argue with the blond haired lady at check out as we did not want to waste our time and so paid it, but considering that we paid 1309.00 Euros for 3 nights we found it cheap of them to ask for this payment as we were specifically told it was complimentary.

Breakfast was delicious and served in our room where we could eat overlooking the canal. Staff were extremely helpful with mastering our coffee order which we really appreciated
Provided more room cards without trouble
