Gorgeous building and the lifts are a highlight. Only in Egypt can you still get a grand (though slightly faded) experience.
The rooftop terrace has a beautiful view. Its popularity can mean that staff are rushed at times. But nothing to complain about.

I smelled cigarettes all the night in my room from my neighbors I believe, although smoking is only allowed in the terrace. Not sure why it gone through my room

The breakfast was Superb.The view from the restaurant was magical.The staff was so friendly and cheerful.
We had 2 rooms side sea view. One was amazing the 2nd was awful and so small. The AC wasn't working the fridge wasn't working and the toilet wasn't fixed to the ground. The most annoying thing was that the manager didn't respond to our complaints till our last night. They finally changed the room and we had to move our stuff before checking out by just hours.

"Es ist ein altes Kolonialhotel sehr zentral gelegen. Die Mitarbeitenden haben sich vor allem um meine Frau sehr bemüht, nachdem sie auf der Straße gestürzt war. Wir haben uns hier wohl gefühlt."
