Handsome main building with excellent restaurant. Rooms a good size & comfortable beds. Excellent swimming pool

Large business conference took over parts of the hotel which was a shame.

The location is beautiful, the restaurant was some of the best food I’ve had at excellent prices

I didn’t appreciate their way of handling the reserved spa time slot: we had reserved a 6pm spa entrance, and at check in we were given a code to access the spa facilities. However, upon arriving at the facilities, we were informed that the door was unlocked, that no code was needed and there were several other people accessing the spa during our same slot. It is no problem if time slots are reserved for several guests, but giving us a code that was useless created the expectation that there would be limited access, which did not seem to be the case, as people were allowed to access and use the spa facilities as long as they wished with no one checking. Also in general the facilities are beautiful but not well kept - several lounge chairs are broken for example. It’s a shame because it’s a beautiful property and the staff is lovely

Beautiful property and surroundings - perfect for our overnight stay with our dog on our way to the UK

The heating didn’t work and the heater suggested as an alternative had the loudest fan.
