Scandic Ruoholahti

We stayed at this hotel for one night. It is a good, modern chain hotel at a quite reasonable price. It is not far from the metro. At first, we were given a room right next to the elevator, but they moved us to another room without any problems when we asked. The room was comfortable and quiet, despite the fact that the windows overlooked the river and a road junction. There is a kettle, cups, tea and instant coffee in the room. The breakfast was good, with a choice of both savoury and sweet dishes

The only downside was that in the morning, after breakfast, the magnetic key stopped opening the room door. After several attempts, the receptionist eventually managed to open the door. If it had been necessary to call a technician, we could have missed the ferry, as we were leaving for Tallinn that day. Overall, we had a good experience staying at the hotel

sehr schöne Zimmer, ein relativ großes Gym im Keller, eine Sauna, sehr reichhaltiges Frühstück, Personal war sehr freundlich, einen Hotelkiosk gibt es auch allerdings mit wirklich abgefahrenen Preisen, Hotel ist 2 Stationen mit der Metro vom Hbf entfernt

Preise am Kiosk sind viel zu hoch

All staff was, with one single exception, extremely kind and helpful.

Housekeeping could be much better. No fresh sheets in six days. Breakfast was awful. Lipton tea is about the cheapest in the world. No fresh fruit juices, only a soda fountain with fake juices managed with an iPad Hotel is situated in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by office buildings. There is a metro connection to the city center, not one stop, as they tell you at the reception, but two stops. Fortunately there also is Uber
