Botsis Guest House

BOTSIS is very nice accommodation in the center of Hydra. It is very near to everything - just a 5-minute walk from the port and the ferry. Our room was lovely and clean. The trash was emptied daily, and the towels and bed linen were changed every other day. The view of the town and the port from the balcony was beautiful. While the street noise below might bother some people, We really enjoyed it because we were right in the heart of the action. Owner is very kind, welcoming, and ready to help with anything. He even provided towels for us to use when we going to the beach, it was a huge plus. Before we left, he warned us about Athens, advising us not to take the metro to the airport due to the prevalence of thieves there. He was very pleased when we told him we were taking a taxi, as it is safer. Hydra is a truly beautiful and magical island. We completely understand why artists come here. There is a magical feeling on Hydra that is impossible to put into words. We visited Hydra after many years and we will definitely return - and we will definitely stay at BOTSIS again.

Die Lage ist optimal Der Vermieter ist sehr kompetent, freundlich und hilfsbereit Der Strandhandtuch-Service ist bemerkenswert Das Zimmer ist hell und freundlich

Very central 70 meters from the port, you don’t need to walk too much with luggages, super market in 20meters,clean,very polite owner

Location very convenient near the port and plenty of options around food/shops. AC was reliable. View from balcony was good and the bed was comfortable. Fridge worked well and shared kitchenette had utensils. Daily cleaning was efficient once we got over the initial cleaning state of the room. Just about value for money. Great to have beach towels that we could use.

The room hadn't been cleaned properly on arrival - leftover items of clothing from previous occupants and rubbish found under the bed. Space very tight and bathroom was functional but basic. Wardrobe doors were stuck on one side. Photos of the space slightly misleading.
