The view
Very disappointed and will not recommend Le Vasa to anyone..We were there 4 nights and not once was our room cleaned, on our third night we went to the front desk and asked for our room to be cleaned, they said “yes all the rooms are getting cleaned today” only to come back from a long day out to find towels on the chair out side our room and a room that hadn’t been cleaned, 4 days, no service, no nothing, we even had to buy our own toilet paper and rubbish bags for the rubbish..So disappointing. I then went to the front desk only for the man to say “sorry for the miscommunication “ . That doesn’t justify anything. The food was not worth the price at all, we asked for medium rare and received “deceased”.

Lovely grounds and wonderful staff , good food , great water views
WiFi costs a lot extra and works only at the restaurant, dimly lit room , bedside lighting needed

Loved the location and the fale overlooking the water. It was beautiful sitting on your balcony over the water and watching all the fish. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was really good.
The wait time for ordering of food and drinks was way too long. Average wait time for food was around 1 hour.

The service was slow even if on “island time’
Settlement of final bill was inconsistent for what we were allowed to pay with vs. a customer day before where they could pay directly to avoid the credit card fee. We were told thag we could only pay via credit card and had to incur the fee.

The room was nice and large. Use of the kayaks was great.
The pool could have been cleaner.

it was a pretty resort
the Management’s focus on payments and not guest’s experience

The restaurant had the best food we had in Upolu. Hotel facilities are and outdoors are great. Great location if you are catching the ferry or going to the airport.
Room 12!! Not what it shows on booking, looks a bit sketchy.

The property had beautiful views over the ocean and a lovely breeze in the afternoon.
Villa had everything we needed and were basic but tidy. Good ventilation with air conditioning and fans.
Food and drinks at the restaurant were lovely as were staff. As low season not all activities were back up and running yet. Would definitely return 🫶🏽
The only thing we could fault was that there is some maintenance needing to be done around the pool/spa area. The spa was not working and the pool didn’t appear to be clean so we didn’t actually use it for the 5 nights we were there.

Close to the airport and ferry terminal. Dinner was good and the bungalow we stayed in was amazing. the pool, fales and water sport gear available for use are a great addition.
Breakfast was not included with our stay, although we were paying the same as in the resort website. Being on the pricey side of resorts in Samoa, I think it would be reasonable to include breakfast.

Everything! the only downside would’ve been one of the aircon units in hut 9 wasn’t working, so it was quite warm, but I’m sure the resort will fix this meaning everything about this place is amazing!
just one of the aircon units not working in hut 9

nice roomy bungalows / fales in lush garden and nice sea view.
very nice pool area and kind staff
everything is old and worn down. some facilities are closed (jacuzzi…). restaurant is good but drinks are way too expensive. the resort price as well, it’s the price that was right when the resort opened.

location idyllic
food we had was excellent!!
bedding was clean, but needed “freshening up”.
Note :- we booked very late notice, so possibly mitigating reason.

The presence of mosquitoes in the room was the most unpleasant aspect of our visit to Le Vasa. I recommend a thorough spraying of the room for mosquitoes and inspection by staff before being released to the next quest. Thank you.

The restaurant/bar staff was nice, the location is good, the views are amazing, the garden area is really nice, the swimming pool area is probably the real charm of the hotel, the food was ok
I booked a room with seaview and balcony, but I was put in a dark room next to the Reception. When I informed the front desk, the manager blamed Booking.com for giving the wrong information. Not sure how it works but it sounds like a lame excuse to me.
Therefore, for the price I paid, I think the room is expensive. Maybe if breakfast was included…
Anyway, not good value for money.

Great location if waiting to catch an early ferry. Kind staff and great atmosphere. Clean, well decorated rooms and clean grounds with free parking.
The only thing was the shower filled up quickly and took a very long time to drain.

Room with a great view of Manono Island was awesome. Dinner was fantastic and tasty and so as the continental breakfast they offered. Room was superb and comfy. Very nice.
We only spend one night, so didn't identify any flaws. Everything was fantastic and satisfied. Great staff, very friendly.

location and staff were amazing.
We checked in at 2 pm, our room was dirty, unclean dishes and dirty fridge, toilet was dirty from previous occupants.
my husband had to clean the bathroom before we used it.
The food was lovely but you need to update your menus to reflect what is really served. e.g Puttanesca pasta advises capers and Olives, it came with capsicum and carrot. I understand produce issues, but I think the menus need updating, literally every dish we ordered was different to the description.

beautiful location right on the water; lovely bungalow and 4-poster bed. great bar too.
for a resort costing £170 a night I don’t expect to pay separately for breakfast, nor to be way overcharged for transfers to ferry port or airport. but the most annoying thing by miles is that they provide “day passes” to anyone so the place is full of screaming kids. at one point there were 25 people in the 10m pool.

great views and beautiful facilities. the food was absolutely delicious.
laundry service was a massive let down. gave laundry the day before and half weren’t even done in the morning of our check out. supervisor at the time went and hid and did not even come back to address and apologise for the mishap and we took our towels damp as they were even dry yet.

great staff. always available to lend a hand.

Gorgeous views, clean rooms, friendly staff, meals nice but expensive
Bed too soft, needs some updating, expensive compared to other places, can't park near your room

I actually really like this location. It's a beautiful place. Very peaceful and quiet.
However the place is very tired and rough around the edges. I wouldn't have had an issue with it, excepted you're paying a premium for something that feels quite budget. There was no hot water (which wasn't an issue for me - Samoa is too hot for hot water personally. But it maybe an issue for you). Rooms aren't serviced each day, which wouldn't be an issue, but at the price they are charging I feel they should.

location was close to Mulifanua wharf.
No television in the room. Also had to pay $100 tala extra because the booking stated accommodation for two. I paid $260.00 for one night.
I booked the room knowing there was a double bed and a single but they still charged extra for a adult . I booked because I was taking my parents to savai’i I bought the room knowing we would spend extra money with dinner and drinks at the resort. anyway that is my gripe but it is what it is 🙂.

the staff. the whole staff was all so friendly and helpful. don’t forgot to dine in. food is great!
pool was always crowded. shame the beach couldn’t be utilised.
