Staff behavior, hotel cleanliness, room comfort, and its location; everything was great. Breakfast also had a lot of options , and it was served fresh. I stayed there 2 nights with my family during our road trip to Basel. It is ideally located in the German side, just a couple of kilometers from the Swiss-German toll. Basel City center is just 3-4 kilometers. I recommend you to give it a try if you are coming Basel or around.

I liked everything about the hotel.

Modern, large and comfortable room. Ours had a kitchenette with a large fridge. Bathroom equally recent and equipped with large shower. Comfy beds. The room was quiet as it was in the internal part of the structure. The front-facing ones may be a bit nosier as in front of the train station. Shops and restaurants in the immediate surroundings at walking distance. Train station just in front.

Staff was helpful and they set-up a late check-in (21hrs). However very little staff around, also for breakfast and for check-out. It misses a bit of human touch. For us it was fine however, as it was only a stop over and facilities were spot on.

Simple room but clean and practical. No frills hotel but perfect location. For the price absolutely perfect.

This is a wonderful hotel in Grenzach, wit excelent location at 2 minutes from both train and bus and some restautants. The hotel is very clean, the room was so spacious, clean, warm, comfitable. The breakfast is excellent, the staff very polite and helpful. I highly recommend the hotel and the location of the place for traveling in the region.

It's more a serviced studio flat than a hotel, and that's a good thing. Absolutely spotless and spacious room, bigger than most London studio flats! Well equipped kitchen if you fancy self catering, and very nice breakfast. Plenty of parking on site
