A very warm welcome from Mark. situated in quiet area but very accessible to main roads to explore Wexford/Waterford. Beautiful setting, with attached gardens a joy to walk through. Surrounding roads are quiet so nice for evening/morning walks. Suite very much fit for purpose with all necessary home comforts available, especially when travelling with child

The pool!!! Full use of pool all to ourselves! The garden, love exploring this beautiful peaceful place.

Water pressure was low in the mains tap, but our host delivered 3 flasks of water to make up for it. Service was a little slow for dinner as we have young kids. Feed the kids first, rule 101.

The garden was fantastic lived like royalty

Our stay in Kilmokea Garden Suite was amazing, from start to finish. When we arrived down we were met by Julie, a very friendly staff member who showed us all around the house and grounds before bringing us up to our suite. We chose the self-catering garden suite as we have two small kids and wanted to have our own space to be able to cook our own meals and give our kids space to run around. We brought a few extras ie, an iron, hairdryer, cleaning products, kids' books, etc but we did not need them as the suite was so well equipped. I especially loved the two bookcases full of kids' books, grown-up books, DVDs, puzzles, etc. It was such a lovely touch. Mark, the owner was so kind, he brought extra DVDs for all of us and was a great help in recommending places to eat and visit. One of the first things we did was explore the gardens and fairy trail, the kids were so excited. There was so much to see, the gardens look incredible and the kids especially loved seeing the peacocks. The location is beautiful, a little gem in Wexford with so many things to do. Check out Hook Peninsula attraction spots. One of the highlights for us staying at Kilmokea as the heated indoor pool! As Ireland's weather can be so unpredictable we had a few mornings when it was raining but we were able to go to the pool, especially when you have kids and don't want them couped up. They loved it. We got the pool to ourselves for an hour a day, it was fantastic. We would have no hesitation in going back again! It was the perfect little staycation.

The gardens are fabulous . The suite was exactly what we needed...good space. Great location too.
