Burke and Wills Hotel Toowoomba

Great location

Lack of satisfactory communication by staff. We were not contacted by reception to advise room was ready until we approached almost twenty minutes after check-in at 2pm. A/c in room was not working. Was not advised of this until we complained how hot room was and only advised then that Several rooms were not working and A/c technicians were working on it all afternoon. We were not able to cool room down until After 10:30pm.

The rooms were well maintained, comfortable and clean. I love that there was an espresso machine and pods available for a morning coffee. The showers were great - great water pressure and range. Everything was easy to use, we were able to use my Apple iPhone to connect to the tv so that we were able to stream a show while winding down of an evening. Every staff member I came across during our stay were friendly and approachable. I was able to get tailored recommendations during our stay. Everything we wanted to see and do was within a suitable distance whether we walked and took a quick drive.

There isn’t anything to comment on about any dislikes.

The staff were brilliant, location outstanding. Our room had been renovated and the renovation was extremely precise.

There was an automatic fan which turned on when we moved around our room. Not good while one of us were trying to sleep.

Location near mall

Cleaner came into my room even though I had do not disturb on door handle outside🙄I had calamari entree on Sunday and it was delicious so I ordered the calamari main on Monday and it was rubbery and not even cook enough 😔I did have a wonderful win in the pokies😊
