Location is great and bed was very comfortable.

The location and the layout of the whole facility, the pool area was great. Could use an adults only section but not a deal breaker.

Nothing was of anything to dislike

Check-in was quick. All dining staff, particularly in Ammos, were friendly and warm. Bennetis was food done well and quickly.

Housekeeping missed our room all three days. This was ridiculous. When we called reception between 3-4pm on the third miss, we were informed that housekeeping had gone for the day. The food at Sands was expensive and sub-par forcing you to the more expensive outlets. The portion size at Ammos is enormous! Less of a complaint and more of a potential cost saving measure. One side of Dutch cream potatoes must have hade about six whole potatoes quartered. A major point I noted was that though the dining staff at both Bennetis and Ammos were attentive, my wife and I were never offered a second drink. We both ordered our initial cocktails and then the wine list was taken away with the menu. Now I could have spoken up and asked to see the list again or just ordered another one but it was just interesting to see it across both venues. I could maybe accept Bennetis as it was a busy night however Ammos was only running two sections on the night we dined there. The lifts being out was mildly annoying but not overly problematic. THE CHROMECAST! That is an absolute joke. The dependence on an incredibly weak signal and then getting the devices to sync was impossible. The price is up there… ~$1000 for three nights, ~$200/night for dinner, $100/day for breakfast and $45/day for parking. Yes, it was our choice to pay for this however the alternative is to park several blocks away up Bay St in the closest non timed parking area and to go to Coles on the way through to pick up 2 minute noodles. For $1000, parking and breakfast should kind of be included. Even a drink ticket or comping part of a meal wouldn’t go astray. It’s just gouging when a $1000 booking turns into a $2100 minimum stay.
