We were there to golf and the courses didn’t disappoint. Our two caddies ( Jimmy and Numza) were delightful. Our room was great too, overlooking the first tee of the Montagu course.
As an older couple, we were less than impressed by the various large groups of guys making an unnecessary and overly vocal announcement of their achievements of the day’s golf. It is fair to say it’s just because are older we don’t like the raucous behaviour and drinking games etc. displayed by these guys who are simply just having fun. It’s not necessarily them that are wrong but I thought their behaviour was inconsiderate of other guests. Sorry guys.

Incredible food, facilities and service, some of the best I've had worldwide. The continental breakfast and food overall was some of the best I've ever seen worldwide where I'm normally staying in many 4-5 star hotels. I could not have been happier with the food, the location, the golf and the facilities. It's one of the few places where I absolutely loved every little thing about the place. I would go again at a moments notice if I was in the general vicinity.
I could not really fault Fancourt at all. If I had to nitpick, the porters were a bit slow getting to the hotel rooms and communication with them wasn't the best at all.
