This hotel was a wonderful, restful place to stay in Hydra. Hilda, the owner, and Lena, her assistant, were so attentive and helpful with all things. The daily breakfast was delicious and filling. Hilda made several dinner reservations for us and made many helpful recommendations. The hotel is a 3 minute walk away from the harbor so it is very quiet yet close to restaurants and the activities of the island.
There were a few small issues with plumbing and the AC unit but I am sure those will be fixed during the off season.

Phaedra Hotel was lovely, great location in a beautiful island, very peaceful but full of great restaurants nearby. Hilda and Alin are great hosts, and their homemade breakfast was delicious. The room was very clean and spacious, we had a wonderful stay.

The room was ok, beds comfortable, AC, you get some free water in the fridge...
The breakfast was bad.
They served some pastry, one boiled egg per person, butter, some bread, jam and fruits.
They put coffee in a thermos, to take as much as you want, but only enough milk for one coffee per person.
No water available at the breakfast terrace.
The fruits... the slices of peach were without taste and the watermelon slices the worst I have ever tasted in Greece.
For this price range, I call the breakfast serving a disgrace.
Taste the fruits before serving.
Put some drinking water for the breakfast terrace.
Don't be cheap on the milk for coffee.
