Buyukada Princess Hotel

The location is perfect - you walk off the ferry and straight up the road for about 50 metres and it's there - right in the middle of everything. The staff are all very helpful. We had a bedroom with a round bed and a balcony that overlooked the bar below and the sea. There is a restaurant/bar downstairs/next door that is called something else and that is where breakfast is served. There is a lift. The island itself is fabulous and you can get about with the small electric buses to explore.

It was all good and helpful - I think the room needs a bit of a makeover and a fresh coat of paint. Be aware that being so central means it can be noisy if there is something going on in the bar/restaurant.

Convenient location close to the port. Spacious and comfortable room with two balconies and sea view. Great air conditioning. Good breakfast.

Receptionist was friendly but uninformed about the local area and uninterested in finding out basic information for us. Room was not cleaned - we were told after the fact that we would have needed to specially request it. Hotel has a restaurant attached which had a loud live music event on the terrace until midnight on our second night - we were not warned about this.

Close proximity to the Ferry Port, waterfront promenades & easy to access downtown restaurants, cafes, markets & public transport. The staff at the hotel were friendly & always ready to offer assistance to enhance our stay. Continental Breakfast was excellent, many choices, fresh bread & great turkish tea.

Only offered turkish coffee - it would be nice to have a larger coffee selection like Americano, Cappucino etc.

Die Lage war perfekt.
