La cercanía al centro y a la zona de restauración.

A mí me gustó todo el trato del personal la habitación. Cierto es que me hubiera gustado tener una tele más grande y colgada en la pared. Por otro lado hice la observación de que para personas con poca movilidad no es probablemente el mejor sitio donde reservar porque para llegar sí o sí hay que subir escaleras. Y según entras en el estacionamiento en el hall donde te atienden no hay habitaciones en esa misma altura en la que te atienden de nuevo se deben subir más escaleras. No es un establecimiento al que yo iría si estuviera por ejemplo en silla de ruedas. Quitando eso la verdad que todo muy bien muy contento mi pareja y yo.

Everything was pretty clean and the service was super attentive, even for us that we got there close to midnight.

Que puedo ir caminando desde la estación de buses al hostal, la cercanía a mi centro de trabajo (también puedo ir andando) y la amabilidad de Jesús y Pepa.

Me gustó todo.

Great view from the window of the church (from which this place takes its name) which, by the way, is well worth looking at. The room was large and well-appointed. Good access to a lovely little trek you can make up to the Ermita de San Julian further further up the valley.

I stayed in 4 different places during the 10 days I stayed in Cuenca; this was the most expensive and by far the worst for the following reasons: Noise: the walls are like paper - the first night I had to endure the loud and amorous exchanges of a young couple; the second night to the television preferences and conversation of a middle-aged couple who couldn't sleep! Location: San Anton is an unusual little neighbourhood but if you're a tourist there is little to see in this part of Cuenca and few amenities beyond a couple of bars - it's neither downtown or old town. There are many better places to locate yourself. Expense: it's an expensive option and though one of the assets is the excellent little breakfast this is not included. Now, locals may be ready for that but not unless you're told beforehand. I was presented with the extra bill at the end and no effort or opportunity was taken to inform me in advance that this was an extra cost. Room Servicing: the bathroom had a terrible leaking shower. I did everything I could to avoid this but it flooded the floor all the same. No one had bothered to refill the hand soap dispenser. Communication: no effort was made to communicate to me about the added expense of the breakfast nor did I get any response to my complaint about the noise from other guests, until over 24 later.
