The Westin Sanya Haitang Bay Resort

Rooms nice with a peek of the ocean. It is convenient to the China Duty Free Mall - a huge shopping complex and reason we chose to stay here. Chloe the guest relations person was excellent before we arrived in communications, however she was unable to meet us on arrival. The housekeeping lady who cleaned our room was exceptional. The breakfast staff were also good and the offerings were good. Our expectations were high because this is a Westin property.

The concierge, porters were unfriendly and a bit surly; the receptionist checking us in were quite amateur e.g. we didn't know where lifts were & he just pointed in the direction of it. Also, the shuttle buses are not frequent so we had to take a taxi to & from airport. It is a massive property, so quite impersonal.

酒店标房只带两位12岁以下儿童，对14，15岁只能按成人。也只有booking有带三位成人早餐的预定。希望酒店能改成2位12岁以下更1位16岁以下，毕竟初中生也是孩子，父母出门也得带着。

During out stay in Sanya Chloe Feugeas did an incredible job making our stay extra special. Not only did she help me prepare the celebration of my fiancés birthday, but she also helped with arranging something special to celebrate our engagement. Thank you Chloe! On top of that, the facilities of the hotel were fantastic and we had no need of leaving the premises. Also. The breakfast was extremely delicious!

Location is great if you want to shop, the beach bar / lounge area was very nice even after the rain, need to get there early though if you want a lounger.

Two of the pools were closed for maintenance, but it didn't really matter as it rained most of the weekend. Unfortunately as I was passing through the lobby there was dog feces ( I hope) being cleaned up, how this could happen I don't know. My room wasn't cleaned due to housekeeping misunderstanding the clean up room green light for do not disturb (one is green, one is red) My final disappointment is why, with such an amazing garden space, would you put the gym in B2 with no windows, natural daylight or view, it felt damp and the lighting colour temp was really low (2500K). Not appealing at all.
