Best Western Lamphey Court Hotel and Spa

The reception staff were so welcoming and for me that makes all the difference when going to any hotel, Every thing we wanted and needed was easily answered by the reception staff. And the biggest bonus was free drinks instead of having your room cleaned. I would definitely want to come again 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

There was nothing that I didn’t like 😊

The hotel is beautiful! We were warmly greeted at reception, the receptionist was exceptionally friendly and helpful, and after initially telling us we had a room in the coach house, she acknowledged the poor weather and that we might prefer a room in the hotel building itself, and we got a free upgrade! The room itself was lovely, spacious and comfortable. The spa staff were also lovely and the process of getting in was really easy. The changing room and pool were great. The jacuzzi was out of service but we weren't planning to use it anyway. We decided to have our evening meal there and again had great service from the waiter! He initially advised us they were out of the Thai green curry (the only vegan item on the menu) but after asking what else could be done, he asked the chef and then confirmed the chef was able to make me the curry). The food was great, well seasoned and perfect portion size. Breakfast the following morning was great; I'd messaged in advance and been told all the vegan options available (vegan sausages available on request), so it was a very satisfying start to the day! We also had some medication that required refrigeration and this was no issue to the staff. In fact, the breakfast supervisor was very vigilant I making sure we didn't leave without it! All in all we had a lovely stay and would have happily spent more than one night 😊

There were quite a lot of cobwebs around the window I the bedroom, so I ended up clearing the worst of it myself.

The pool and nice & quiet & peaceful

The television was faulty in our room so we had one night without no television

Great setting grounds are lovely and the spa was really nice

We stayed in studio 230 which was great with a kitchen which was really great but we were disappointed with the lounge and bedroom area as whilst it was a pet room there was a strong smell on the carpets possible a pet accident which didn’t make it enjoyable to sit in. We pay extra to bring a dog but don’t really expect the room to smell and be clean. The staff were lovely but made no attempt to offer any compensation when advised. We also had no heating so had wet towels for 3 days . The kitchen windowsill also flooded due to the rain and our belongings got wet. It would have been nice to have been offered a gesture of goodwill. The carpets do need cleaning and the window fixing as it is a great space but could do with an upgrade to meet the nice standard of the kitchen. It was also a shame that hotel offers EV charging which is great but unhelpful when they have a coach blocking both parking spaces.
