Absolutely stunning!

Could have had a few more sun lounges by the pool. The pool gets very busy around sunset.

The hotel exceeded our expectations with its location, amenities and most importantly the staff. From the pool cleaner, and restaurant personnel to the housekeeping staff and the fantastic front desk staff always with a smile and a 'Bonjour'. They were all the most friendly and accommodating we have experienced in our world travels. Our family enjoyed a prestige two-bedroom unit that had modern decor detailed to a high standard and super clean. The room was oversized for a hotel and the kitchen was a great bonus. Views over the water from the two balconies watching the kite surfers and boats were mesmerising. Along with the most beautiful sunsets over the water, imaginable. The large beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were well-stocked with fluffy towels and the usual amenities you would expect from a 5-star hotel. Breakfast had a good selection of French pastries and hot choices plus fresh fruit and meats. A massage at the spa is a must if you stay and the choice will astound you! The hotel is located in a quiet area but a convenient stroll along the oceanfront to restaurants and retailers. We would recommend the Chateau Royal to any traveller.

A small on-site shop would be great, just for essentials like milk, band aids, chocolate etc. La' scale takeaway menu for dinner could have more options...

The staff were all excellent, easily spoke English or French, smiling, greeted you whenever they walked past you, helpful with questions and suggestions, lovely banter, wonderful service.

My adult daughter and I required 2 single beds. The only minor critique re: our room was the size of the 2 single beds. The length of the beds was perfect however the width of the single beds was quite narrow for an adult. The rest of the room was fantastic. The full kitchen was very useful, the rain shower was lovely, great mirror and lighting in the bathroom, chairs and table out on the balcony. The blackout curtains were a nice bonus and the pocket doors between rooms made it possible to sleep in total darkness as the sun rose before 5am. Also very pleased with our cleaning lady, Paulette, she was very sweet and always did a wonderful job on our room.

L'heure de check-in n'était pas respecté, on nous a dit de récupérer la chambre a 15h et on a dû attendre 30 min en plus. Donc j'ai demandé à faire un check-out à 11h30, mais aucune réponse nous a été donné.

We had room 418 for nine nights and greatly enjoyed it. Great location away from the main restaurant areas but able to walk if you wanted to. Beach straight out the front. Staff very attentive, very good room servicing. Plenty of parking. The hotel were able to supply us with a quiet room on request, room had lovely water views around the other hotel next door. Small basic kitchen which suited us fine. The Aquatronic pool area is an extra daily charge but well worth at least one visit during your stay.

Unfortunately there is construction occurring on site during Monday to Friday - this was pre advised by the hotel. We could not hear anything at all in our room and there were no obstructions at all, but the noise interferes badly with use of the pool area during construction times.

Lovely one bedroom apartment, partial view of the ocean. Great kitchen.

Noisy in living room due to airconditioning duct from other apartments going through. Sofa and chairs not as comfortable.

We thought the spa was a waste of money. A huge pool and nowhere really to swim.
