Villa La Rosa B&B

Great spot just outside busy centre, beautiful views

We stayed here for our honeymoon in September and couldn't have chosen a better place to experience Lake Como. The location is perfect for exploring the area, just a 10-minute walk from Bellagio. There are quite a few steps between the property and the town, so it's worth bearing in mind if you have mobility issues. Our room was spacious, clean, and had a beautiful view overlooking the lake. The swimming pool was another highlight, offering the perfect place to relax while taking in the stunning scenery. Breakfast was excellent and served directly to our room each morning. Everything was fresh, the coffee was fantastic, and enjoying breakfast with a view of the lake became one of our favourite memories from the trip. Andrea and Marco were wonderful hosts. They were very friendly, provided great restaurant recommendations, and even helped us secure a reservation for our final evening after the restaurant had told us they were fully booked. Overall, this is an ideal place for couples looking for a peaceful stay close to Bellagio without being right in the centre of the town. Thank you for making our honeymoon so special!

The walk into Bellagio involves going down/up quite a few steps. For us this was fine but for less mobile people this may be an issue.

Beautiful location, stunning views, wonderful owners who were very helpful friendly and accommodating.

Honestly the location was amazing and walking distance to anything we wanted to do in town. Super quiet and peaceful when we wanted to get away from the noise. The staff was excellent as well and really helped make the trip.

I’m from the US so take with a grain of salt. I wish the AC kept the room a bit cooler at night. We specifically traveled in September though as we know the deal with HVAC in the EU so it was very manageable.
