The rooms are very nicely remodeled and very clean and comfortable! Mrs Paula and her son Joe were very friendly and accommodating. We really enjoyed our time relaxing in our room and on the rooftop terrace with the jacuzzi and a limoncello spritzer!

I wouldn’t say there was anything we didn’t like, only would have been nice to have coffee available in the room or in the bar area. Mrs Paula did make us an espresso the day we arrived, but in the morning you would need to go to the Zerilli cafe in the square for coffee and breakfast. There is a kettle in the room so if you bring instant coffee that could be a suggestion.

Don Giulio Luxury Rooms is a lovely hotel owned and managed by Paula and her son Gennaro, aka Joe. Situated on the top floor of an apartment building, the freshly renovated space includes large rooms with en suites bathrooms, ample light from skylights and windows, comfortable beds with nice linens and amenities including a well stocked wine coolor. Our room also featured a jacuzzi, which we did not need because we used the open air jacuzzi located in a private space on the rooftop. The rooftop is an extension of the hotel. A private lift opens directly to the hotel floor. The hotel is located in Vico Equense, a perfect situated small town a twenty minute drive east from Sorrento. The town has a wide variety of restaurants and sits on the edge of a cliff overlooking the mediterranean. Two beach zones are easily accessed with stairs or a roadway.

It was a very good experience, but the breakfast wasnt the best. It was served at the cafe outside of the appartments and the feeling was, that we are not welcomed there.
