Katari Apart Hotel at Qorikancha

What a fantastic property. Whilst there is no manned reception, the staff are readily available and contactable via WhatsApp. The room it self is very spacious, clean and well set up with a small semi kitchen ( cooktop, fry pan, microwave, and kettle, cutlery and plates). The bathroom is clean and spacious. Great shower with hot water. Eaxh afternoon, you order breakfast which is delivered to your room at a time you select between 6:30 and 10. If you have an early tour before 6:30, they will prepare a packed brekkie for you. The best thing for us was that we had tours booked to Machu Picchu and the Amazon, and we were able to leave our luggage in the room when we left. They organised secure storage and then when we rechecked in, our bags were in our room. Amazing. Also they organised laundry for us. It was collected by the wonderful Amanda and returned that night. The cost was very reasonable for the convenience. The location of the apartments is fantastic. Honestly, you could not wish for more.

Komfortables, sauberes, gut ausgestattestes Zimmer mit kleinem aber feinem Balkon. Frühstück nach Wahl - wurde auf gewünschte Zeit ans Zimmer serviert. Sehr gut und Zentral gelegen. Sehr hilfsbereites und freundliches Personal.

The location was amazing, beautiful little deck to step out on and view historical ruined. It was quiet at night, which was nice and walkable to lots of sites and restaurants and activities.

All the rooms are up a significant flight of stairs and so with luggage it was a little challenging. Also, there’s no clear lobby, only a buzzer on the outside of the building and then someone comes and greet you. It was a little confusing.

Location was excellent, accommodations excellent, staff very helpful & accomodating. They held our luggage before we checked in, during our 4 day hike on the Inca trail, and again after we checked out. We took advantage of the free breakfasts on two of the three mornings; it was excellent!! We were very impressed with the quality, variety, and quantity. I would highly recommend this apartment if you go to Cusco and especially if you’re hiking the Inca Trail to MP!
