Sehr nette Inhaberin. Das Personal war super engagiert und nett. Das Frühstück war lecker. Wir hatten einen sehr kurzen Weg in den Addo Elephant Park. Die Unterlunft hatte eine Außendusche.

Die Lage der Anlage. Die Herzlichkeit der Managerin, Samiona (ich hoffe der Name ist nun richtig 🤣 sie ist ein ganz ganz lieber Mensch und war stets um unser Wohlergehen bemüht. Das Abendessen kann ich nur wärmstens empfehlen.

Es gab nichts auszusetzen, bis auf den kleinen Pool, der war nicht besonderes gepflegt.

Sehr gemütliches Hotel mit sehr hilfsbereiter Besitzerin und tollem Personal. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt

Sehr nettes Personal und großräumige Zimmer. Die Außendusche war ein Highlight. Das Bett leider etwas zu klein, aber völlig ausreichend.

Etwas in die Jahre gekommene Ausstattung, was dem Charme des Hotels aber nicht schadet, da es authentisch ist.

Superschönes Grundstück mit herzlichen Inhabern und ebenso Personal. Liegt nur maximal 2 km vom Eingang zum "Addo" entfernt.

Das im Vorfeld angebotene und gebuchte traditionelle, afrikanische 3 Gängen-Menue (380,-ZAR/Person) war leider enttäuschend. Für uns keine Auswahl, da viel zu geringes Angebot für die die anwesenden Personen. Letztendlich blieb für uns ein letztes Steak und Kartoffeln, ohne Gemüse und Nachschub gab es nicht.

Die Lage zum Addo-Park ist grandios, da man auf die gefährliche R335 verzichten sollte. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und bemüht, die Verpflegung mit Abendessen ist empfehlenswert.

Insgesamt etwas dunkel in den Zimmern durch die Anordnung des Hauptgebäudes.

owner was very friendly and made reservation for us for a game drive in a private park (we had to pay him partly in cash for that so we had to find a cash machine :-( and we could pay for the drive at the park with a credit card)

They have no coffee machine for cappuccino at the restaurant. The drinks at the bar was only limited choice. The fact that we needed to pay in cash for the gamedrive advice was a bit dissapointed.

Friendly hosts and staff, beautiful scenery and great food.

Seamless arrival. Good recommendation for restaurant. Rooms well equipped. Unfortunately arrived with Load-shedding stage 6 just instituted.

For the warm breakfast, some more vegetarian/vegan options would've been nice for those who didn't eat eggs, bacon and sausages.

Managers were friendly.

Room was not cosy at all, aircon remote was removed, no gas heater or attempt to make it warmer in winter time! Bedding was clean but "old" and washed out. The common area was also very cold, we know it was winter, but for a 4 star guesthouse we expected more value for money. At least a heater etc. If we compare this to other 4 star guesthouses we visited, it is not making the cut. Sorry. We are not going to mention the dinner or the breakfast.

Room is spacious and well equipped. Dinner was absolutely delicious and large portions. Breakfast was also good and a variety of cereals, rusks and cook breakfast. Filter coffee and a variety of teas.

We booked a picnic basket with the stay expecting it to be as well organized as the accommodation but for R150 per person we got a dry sandwich, breakfast bar, very hard boiled egg wrapped in foil, small bag of big corn bites, small box juice & bottle of water. The stay and breakfast was great but rather buy something to eat from Nanaga farmstall than ordering a picnic from this place.

Very nice place close to the South Gate of the park. The owner is very kind and gives great recommendations. we enjoyed two dinners, absolutely great!

Felt accommodation and facilities were in need of upgrade . Also the breakfast especially could have been improved.

No communication from owner that activity needs 24 hour notice to book. Manager not keen to arrange game drive. Just as well only there one night!
