We loved the nook.
The breakfast was very good
The bar area was comfortable.
The pool was amazing
The walk way to the back garden was not cleared or clean. Felt like the back of a hotel guest are not allowed. Same hall way to back garden had cobwebs and needed a good clean.
The was an unfortunate sewerage smell in the hall way to back garden that lingered to staircase to upstairs rooms.

The swimming pool is brilliant and the staff are extremely polite.
The rooms are dirty and need more attention to detail. Upon our arrival the room we were given had visible stains on walls and mouldy silicone sealant/mastic in the toilet, toothpaste marks on the tap, stains on pillows. I raised the issue with the staff and they were extremely polite and offered us another room which was much nicer, despite being cleaner it wasn’t up to the standards of a 4 star hotel in my opinion.

Great, out-of-the-way location and a lovely country style setting.
Luxury room was cramped and difficult to get to for a senior couple with heavy bags. The bed head board and foot board were totally enormous compared to the bed that wasn't very comfortable either (every time I got out of bed to go to the toilet I walked into the foot board that stuck out way beyond the edge of the bed)
The facilities were also minimal for what we paid so overall a disappointing stay.
