Novotel Queenstown Lakeside

location was spot on, did have a worry regarding the car parking as i am disabled and on arrival the car park was full BUT they found a space, Need to update as it says you cannot pre book a space yet some people had !!!!! room was ok comfy, the bed for me was way too soft so asked if anything could be done they firmed it up a bit wife loved her bed, view was at the carr park side but we were going to be out more than in. Staff were fabulous cheerful polite and great to talk to, food was excellent, we did breakfast and had a few meals there the price was comparable to going out and the service was great. Would i stay again yes,

choice of bed firmness (disabled people some times need a firmer bed) Update booking.com site. The fact that they automatically took payment the night before on my credit card, we would have liked to pay by cash or efpos i use a credit card for the fact that you have to have one in todays society BUT i dont use mine all that much, i now have to make an effort to pay the credit card off, not ideal, Please give us back the choice i am an adult and can make these choices.

Location. Right on the lakeside. Less than 5 minutes walk to shops, centre of town. Quiet. Friendly staff. Lovely buffet breakfast.

Nothing.

If it's location that matters most, Novotel Queenstown is perfect. The breakfast was good value, with kids eating for free for the buffet.

Ooft! Tiny beds, tiny room. Think travelling and staying in Tokyo tiny. The beds were so small. The curtains were ripped, the ceiling heavily marked and the room stank like wet dog. Guest parking is limited, don't assume you'll get valet car service. On top of that the hotel charged our credit card twice for our stay, the unexpected charge leading us to be hit with a surcharge that we can't get refunded. This was the most expensive hotel on our two week NZ trip and was the dirtiest, and least impressive, oh well that's what you get for staying in a popular tourist town!
