First of all, the staff is exceptional! Before staying I read a lot of reviews for this hotel and some others in the area. I noticed their are a lot reviews that mention the staff was not nice or helpful, and I personally did not have that experience at all. Each member of the staff all the way down the the valet guys in parking lot were friendly, helpful, and polite. I stayed in a King Ocean View Cabana style room and it was perfect! The view of the beach and pool was beautiful. The room was the perfect size with nice upgrades compared to their other room options. However, my family stayed in the non-cabana style rooms and they all had exceptional views of the beach and city on much higher floors. The cafe in lobby was a plus since it has excellent to-go food and is super convenient. Also the restaurant on-site was really good for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I just wish it had more traditional Puerto Rican entree options. Overall, my stay was wonderful and I’ll definitely stay at this Marriott again.

Honestly, based on my experience I don’t have much to say that I didn’t like about this Marriott. I wish the pool closed a little later than 9pm, perhaps 10pm or 11pm. Since if you leave the property all day to do excursions and explore we personally found ourselves wanting to go in the pool around 8pm but then it closed at 9pm. It wasn't a big deal that it closed at 9pm but just suggestion maybe it be open an hour or two later.

Wonderful staff, great beach location and beach service. Breakfast was part of our room rate and was incredibly varied and great food. Rooms were very comfortable and quiet. Fitness center had lots of equipment. Pools were impressive.

Location is fantastic- great restaurants within walking distance.

Average rooms for too much money, elevators were broken, renovations on the slide the entire time, closed the hot tub because of renovations, the breakfast is not good food. Not a top tier resort.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. I told the receptionist that it was daughter's birthday and she arranged for some treats and balloons be sent up to her room. IT made her day! Well done Marriot Staff!

The staff on the beach for drinks were very nice but there was not enough of them. I went to another island where they had buttons on the umbrellas- so you could order drinks online and they would bring them to you - it was very efficient.

Our breakfast at the buffet was not good! The birds!! The food was not great - french toast dry, omelets had no flavor. Very disappointed with a cost of $40!

Only one elevator was working. My fiance dropped of key to the room at the spa to give after my appt. They didn't give it to me and I had to wander around hotel tryingto to fine him in order to get in our room!

The service and staff were excellent, they were very friendly and helpful. Resort was beautiful and very well maintained.

Food was just ok, but it was a resort so not high expectations. The drinks, however, were extremely weak and watered down and very expensive. The expense I understand because it’s a resort but it was very clear the alcohol was watered down. Weak drinks was a theme along the strip outside the hotel, to be fair.

They said there a recently renovated side but it is outdated. All the furniture in our room was rusted, our room kept losing power, the pool bar was closed down because of electrical problems. The pool wasn’t properly cleaned and wasn’t circulating water. There was only one elevator working in our section and then the second stopped working for the day and was force to walk up 8 flights. Due to the storm causing flooding in certain areas. They closed down everything at 8:30 leaving us with no dinner, just had to settle for what they had at the snack station

The property was so clean and the staff was amazing!

I wish there was minimal food/beverage included with the stay. Also a game room for the kids would’ve been a delight during the rain.

its too expensive. every drink is 15$ plus gratuity. its ridiculous. 5$ extra for room service. and they don’t deliver drinks to the room, only food. the bathroom door from the inside was dirty. the bathroom door handle is so sharp, that i cut my finger. no vegetables at breakfast. for a 68,48$ breakfast!!! the pool water is so warm, that you feel like in a bathtub. it’s not refreshing at all!

It was beautiful and one of the doormen I believe his name was JOE he had red hair he was soooo nice!!! We loved him. All the doormen were complete gentleman!!! Will visit again just for the princess treatment.

The casino is very small, nothing to do there beside it or the restaurant. you paid for everything nothing as a courtesy. We had to pay for parking even the laundry you paid for. The hotel is already expensive to have you paid for parking too.

Just one staff worker at the pool . She never went to us to ask if we needed anything. She came by and ask a couple who were sitting right next to us and chose to truly ignore us. Tried to get her attention and she intentionally ignored the eye contact.
