Hotel Convento La Gloria

Location: really convenient. It’s a quirky old building but in itself an attraction even to see it. The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant to deal with.

The room safe didn’t work but the hotel has a strong room where we could leave valuables. Our room has two chairs but neither is safe to sit on! A problem when you finish with antiques…..

The beautiful room with the old fashioned sewing machine Singer as the sink. Beds were so comfortable and the rooftop bar with incredible views

There was a particular member of staff on front desk on our arrival who was quite hostile & arrogant and non Co operative towards us as clients arriving … one seemed not interested in us as guests .. When we asked to change our room because of the smell of sea food in our room coming from the restaurant below into our window above one seemed very confrontational towards me it was unpleasant as a guest at the front dest to listen to their response . The TV didn’t work in our room for our stay 3 nights there was a smell coming from the bathroom sink & bathtub not pleasant ..
