Hall Garth Hotel Darlington, Sure Hotel Collection by BW

Pleasant staff

Bathroom smelt of stale smoke, toilet dud not flush away waste, had to request assistance and it made no difference. The paint and bath panel was peeling . Rooms in need of refurbishment

Generally everything except the Stable bedroom! Food is first class as are the Staff - Thank you.

Bedroom in stable block was terrible! This is our third visit this year to the Hotel as my wife loves the Spa treatments. However, on this occasion, we ended up in a terrible extremely small and cold bedroom in the Stables Block with an unusually small floor level window which we were unable to open? Thankfully we were given a room heater by the staff. Sadly I have to say that on this occasion we were very disappointed with the accommodation. We are very fond of this hotel and will not be deterred to return in future but never in the Stable accommodation again!!!

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Bed was comfortable and clean

Room was cold, unable to turn the heating on/up. Bathroom was tiny and a lack of hot/warm water in my morning shower.

Rooms and overall hotel were found to be run down and requiring re-decoration. bathroom had mould around ceiling and bath, lining paper on ceiling was releasing from ceiling, carpet was old and appeared dirty. Very similar to all communal areas. Spa was not open / closed early.
